Welcome to Tucson! Winter, spring, and fall are perfect times to visit the Old Pueblo...the nights are cool and the days wonderfully warm. Our weather is lovely for golf, hiking, bicycling, sightseeing, or lounging in the sun. The desert comes alive in spring with magnificent wildflower displays. And there's also our famed 'dry heat' summer which is a great time to enjoy a slower pace while relaxing at the pool. Regardless of the season, any one of our four mountain ranges are a short drive away. Mount Lemmon in the Catalina Mountains offers loads of hiking, birding, fishing, rock climbing (trad & sport), mountain biking, or, if you're a road bike rider, can ride to the top! The Tucson, Rincon, and Santa Rita Mountains also offer much of the same. Visit the Tubac artist enclave and our magnificent missions. Or practice your Spanish shopping in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. There is truly something for everyone!
Other Tucson area points of interest: Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Saguaro National Park, AZ-Sonora Desert Museum, Kitt Peak Observatory, Pima Air and Space Museum, Kartchner Caverns, and, the historic towns of, Bisbee and Tombstone.
