Treat your family to a great stay while in Broken Arrow! Take in the area sights, check out the local restaurants, explore the great outdoors, but at day's end retire to the quiet and rest of this fine home. With a fully equipped kitchen, a large table for dining, comfortable living room and four sanctuary-like bedrooms, you can count on surrendering yourself to the relaxation this home yields. However, if children and teens are at hand, this home also offers resources to keep them active. The garage game room offers table games and a TV for lots of noisy activity, and the large backyard has room to run. Speaking of the backyard, it also offers a nice deck combined with a gas grill for your outdoor gatherings.
As for adventure, catch the turnpike and zip over to the Oklahoma Aquarium (20 minutes), walk the Christmas Light Extravaganza at Rhema between Thanksgiving and New Years (3 miles), or head in to Tulsa and snag a foul ball at a Tulsa Driller's game (26 minute drive).
I was nervous renting a house for vacation as I've never done so before.
My entire Family rejoiced that i did!
The house is located in a modest neighborhood and while not huge, has amenities I would normally associate with an executive home.
The bedrooms are enormous, delightfully and tastefully decorated. The beds were a dream of comfort and the sheets were some smooth fabric made from newly made clouds.
Ok. That's probably hyperbole but that's the way it felt.
the only thing that felt small was the tastefully appointed living room and yet, proved to be more than adequate for the 6 adults we began the weekend with and the 8 adults (my two college age daughters joined us Saturday night) that it became.
The deck/patio has 3 levels with as many seating areas, two of which have light/ceiling fan combos overhead. A large gas grill was provided and I served 20 people for a Friday night cookout where we invited my future son-in-law and his entire family burgers, brats, and hotdogs.
The children loved the game room, the pool, and the play-equipment in the yard.
Most of all we loved how we were able to spend so much time with each other when nothing was going on since we weren't relegated to separate hotel rooms, none of which had enough seating to accommodate us if we wanted to gather.
I met the owner and he aggressively inquired after any requests, issues, or improvements we might suggest. We had a few, none which did anything to lessen our experience.
All in all, a nearly perfect long weekend at the InterContinental Guest Home in Broken Arrow.
this is probably the best vacation home our family has stayed in! So much space for gatherings. We had a cookout while we were there and had at least 20 people and everyone had plenty of space to move around! The kids enjoyed the game room and I could've stayed in the master bedroom with adjoining bathroom forever!!! If you are visiting Broken Arrow I suggest you stay here!
I am the president of a volunteer organization that stays in Broken Arrow to volunteer with animals. They all absolutely loved their stay. They said that it was a beautiful home with so much to do. They had a great time and hope to stay again next year.
Planning to take a group of 5 leaders to Tulsa for the SEEDS conference had us rethinking the usual hotel drudgery. The best part of a conference is downloading together at the end of the day, and InterContinental Guest Home was the perfect choice. The pictures are accurate, the rooms and spaces really are that nice. The master bath is off the chain :) Linens, mattresses and amenities are all excellent quality, and the decorating made this an incredibly inviting environment. Weather was excellent during our early March stay, so the front porch and back deck were both utilized extensively. The game room was a perfect retreat when we needed a breather - or a way to "beat" on each other in an acceptable fashion. We ordered in meals twice, and the kitchen dining area were set up perfectly for this. A number of us woke up early to jog, or work out, and the neighborhood provides a great setting for an early morning run. Lots of restaurants, friendly, quiet neighbors and easy access to all points Tulsa / Broken Arrow. No question we will stay here again if in Tulsa.
What a great house to have family fun. We were in town for our daughters college graduation and catching up,with friends.
The home has plenty of room to spread out. Lots of dishes and cooking supplies. We felt as if we were home away from home.
Ready to book our next stay for our daughters wedding.
We traveled to the Tulsa area to celebrate my son's 8th birthday. He loves the aquarium and the zoo down there. Last year we went and rented hotel rooms for 3 families. Renting this house was so much better than dealing with the hotel process. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed with the exception of trash bags. (That we could have just missed or had been overlooked. lol) No biggie, we ran to the store just down the street to get some the next day. The location was great, about 15-20 minutes away from all the Tulsa attractions such as aquarium, zoo, Dave and Busters, ext. The game room in the garage was great, my husband spent most of his time out there playing pool. The only disappointment I can think of is my 3 year old daughter wanted to watch a movie when it was time to go to bed but the TV in the master bedroom was pretty outdated and we couldn't get the dvd player to work...
All in all the house was great and the manager of the property responded very quickly to all of my questions and emails. We would definitely stay here again.
