This 3,000 S.F. retreat boasts 4 bedrooms and a loft, 3 1/2 bathrooms. Custom granite & tile, wood flooring & rustic wood finishings throughout. Dramatic floor-to-ceiling native rock fireplace. Gorgeous master suite with panoramic lake views and large en suite bathroom. Loft has children's play area including a Play Station 3. Large family room with bar, flat screen tv, surround sound and fireplace. Gourmet kitchen with Sub-Zero, stainless appliances, breakfast bar and fully appointed with pots, pans and utensils. Beautifully landscaped on a private, windprotected spot of Big Bear Lake with deep water and over 115 feet of lake frontage. The large deck has a jacuzzi overlooking the lake. Our private dock is perfect for fishing, launching the kayaks or for tying up your pontoon or ski boat.

Big Bear offers many recreational activities year round. Rentals are available for jet skis and pontoon boats. You can charter a fishing tour as well as a helicopter tour.     We will not rent to anyone under the age of 25.

    Cleaning Fee: $275.00

    This property has a THREE NIGHT minimum stay requirement.

    Check in time is 3:00 pm.
    Check out time is 11:00 am.
  • Cabin is located at a 7,000 foot elevation. Renter is responsible for knowing road conditions, need for chains and; that inclement weather is a possibility. Weather conditions are not a reasonable reason for cancellation.

    Important - Payment and Cancellation Policies: A deposit of 25% is due upon booking and signing of Agreement.; Full payment is due 30 days in advance of stay. Refundable Security Deposit ($500.00) will be mailed within 14 days of departure provided rental is left in good condition and movies on demand have been paid for. We accept PayPal and personal checks.

    Cancellation Policy: More than 30 days notice: Full refund minus 10% cancellation fee. 30-15 days notice: Full; refund minus 15% cancellation fee. 14-1 days notice: Will refund only 50%.

My family rented this home for Christmas week. It was such a beautiful property right on the lake..Pictures do not do justice to this setting. I would highly recommend others to choose this home for their getaway.

A gorgeous and relaxing winter wonderland!

My extended family (12 in all) had the lucky opportunity to stay for three nights in this gorgeous and comfortable home over the New Year's holiday. We cannot wait to return in the spring! The home is enormous yet cozy, with touches everywhere of whimsy and well-appointed decor...delightful and tasteful! We cooked every day in the spacious and well-stocked kitchen, spread out in the variety of comfortable gathering spaces in front of fireplaces and flat-screen TVs, sledded in the snow right next to the house, slept comfortably on cushy beds, and had an absolute blast. The house was immaculate and stocked with fluffy towels, tissues everywhere, and even shampoos and other toiletries available for use! Truly, it was a heavenly stay!

Thanksgiving get away

My first impression of this beautiful place was just jaw dropping. This cabin is more wonderful in person that in the pictures. We rented the cabin for Thanksgiving with our three adult kids and our grandkids, there were 11 in all. This place is huge and very well maintained and stocked. I have stayed at other VRBO houses and they were just not stocked well enough to prepare big meals. The town of Big Bear is very close so shopping or going to the village is just minutes away. The response from Lauri was quick whenever I had a question about something and Carl the maintance man was there the next day when we had an issue with the spa. The kids had a great time playing with the PS3 and watching movies and we never felt that we were crowded at all, the guys took the kyacks out to fish in the lake and had a great time.

I would definetly recommend this property to anyone I know and would love to come back in the summer and rent and bring my boat. Since they have their own dock I am sure that summers here are a blast.

Family Vacation for 10

Our two sons, daughters in law, baby granddaughter and 3 family friends enjoyed the many amenities this home had to offer. The pictures looked good but being in the home provided more space than any of us could imagine. We never felt crampt even though there wer 10 of us in all.

Our son and husband fished off the dock and even caught a couple bass from the kayak. We felt that having the lakefront rather than just a lake view made our stay most memorable. Early mornings I enjoyed the view for a couple watercolor inspirations...others read, hiked and kayaked. One evening we went to the local bowling alley for a fun time. The village is close enough for a dinner out and even some time at the movies.
Thank you for the wonderful accomodations. It was a perfect and memorable time.

The house was fabulous, the dock is within feet of the house. My family had a great time, there is everything you need in the house, it was like being at home. The views are spectacular watching the sunrise in the morning from the East and going down in the West in the evening. We have decided that we would like to come spend a weekend every summer.
