Christmas Holiday Vacation

It was near perfect! Our Hostess, Kerry Doyle, was perfect! My family and I stayed at this property during the 12/2012 Christmas holiday with our two small dogs. The house accomodated us all wonderfully. We had a few hickups with the stove (as the appliances are very old) but we contacted Kerry and she was right on top of it. The home is nicely decorated, very stylish and we even had a Christmas Tree already there! Kerry adds quite a few of her own personal touches, i.e., turning on the lights so that you don't walk into a dark home as well as the heat just prior to your arrival. I would LOVE to stay here again as the property is in a great location for the shuttle to get to the slopes. All-in-All, an incredibly wonderful place!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Very Nice and Great Service

This was our 8th time staying in Big Bear and this was by far our favorite cabin so far. It was very clean, which was extremely important to us, and it was very nicely decorated. The location was perfect as it was close to town and very quiet.

The property manager was extremely nice and was very quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. She communicated all of the pertinent information to us in a timely manner, leading up to our arrival.

The ONLY negative feedback I have for this cabin is the beds are very uncomfortable. The mattresses are thin, hard and noisy when you move. So, PLEASE replace the mattresses! :-) If it weren't for the beds, this review would have been a 5 star rating. Other than that, no other complaints whatsoever!

Thank you for your comments! We truly appreciate your feedback and honesty! No one has ever mentioned a problem with the beds being uncomfortable up to now so this is very helpful. All of the furniture and mattresses are new except the Master and it is on the agenda to be replaced. Awesome Cabin!!! Great Location!!! Super Clean!!!

My husband and I rented the cabin for Father's Day weekend. It was the first trip to the mountains with our 1 year old and we had an amazing time! We were very skeptical about renting a cabin ans we expected it to be dowdy and dated and this was everything but! It was beautifully decorated and upgraded and we had everything we needed. We were so impressed with how clean it was and it was perfectly located near everything. It was cozy and comfortable and all the things you would look for in a mountain vacation. This cabin is perfect for anyone and especially families, I will recommend it highly! The manager and owner's were caring and ensured we were happy and had everything we needed as well!
