We had a great stay at Annie's apartment. It was in a great location, close to metro, supermarket nearby as well as cafés/restaurants etc. Annie was very helpful and quick to communicate with us. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!! Thank you Annie.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Annie's flat for 5 amazing days this September. We can't say enough about this apartment or its owner. The apartment is large (for Paris), meticulously clean with tons of storage space. We were able to unpack our suitcases completely and store the suitcases in a closet rather than having to trip over them during our stay. The apartment is very well equipped. We did not want for anything. The washer and dryer work well and did come in handy for us as the weather was much warmer during our stay than had been forecast. The apartment is very quiet even with the windows open.
Annie is a very special person. Very kind, caring and responsive from the moment I inquired about the apartment until even after we had left. She even took the Metro to Gare Lyon (the train station) to bring us a couple of items we had forgotten in the apartment. Unbelievable!!!
I was delighted to find a farmer’s market right around the corner from the apartment. The farmer’s market is at the location three days a week. I love eating farm to table whenever I can. We did purchase many items to eat in the apartment when we did not feel like eating out. Yummmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many great shops and restaurants nearby. I was able to go out each morning for fresh croissants at a couple of nearby patisseries. Many of the Paris tourist attractions are within walking distance. Great location and base for our stay in Paris. We would return to this same apartment on our next trip to Paris. We will not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family too.
My husband and I spent 12 days in this apartment. For the past 8 years we had rented every year an apartment in the 6th Arrondissement, and while we were pleased before, this time we found our stay the most comfortable. The apartment is large (by Parisian standard), is well equipped (full kitchen, oven and dishwasher, full bath, washer and drier), and meticulously clean. It has a well-functioning elevator, and is very close to 2 different metro stops and multiple bus lines. Annie, the owner, is a very charming, helpful, and caring. She provides every detail to prepare you for your arrival at the apartment, has a list of all the information for your stay (including physicians, hospitals, etc.), and makes reservations for you if needed (we do not speak French). She lives across the hall and is responsive to all inquiries. Another bonus was to have news in English (BBC, France 24, and more) not available in previous rentals.
This apartment is in a very good position for nearby metro stations and food shops, and it's only a short walk to the Jardin de Luxembourg in one direction, and the Montparnasse tower and shopping centre in another. Everything we needed was supplied, and there's a very good shower.
It's surprisingly quiet - a world away from the busy road outside, overlooking a courtyard. Annie, the landlady, lives a few steps away and is extremely helpful. She speaks English and is very reassuring. We would definitely go there again.
We were so happy with our stay in this flat in Paris. The location was perfect and the accommodation was exactly what we needed. WiFi, washer and dryer, and a bonus of being able to call the states on the landline for free! The owner was extremely helpful and the fact that she spoke English, made it very easy for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
We were very pleased that we chose this apartment for our short visit to Paris. The flat is perfectly located near the Rue de Rennes and is within easy walking distance to the Seine and all the main tourist sites and galleries/museums. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops are close by too. The metro station is half a block away.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor (2nd floor in Europe) and has an elevator - probably the smallest elevator I've ever seen! (but big enough one person and a suitcase). It is neat and clean and though modernized, retains much of its Parisian charm. It has a generous sized bedroom and an open concept kitchen/living room that is slightly smaller but still comfortable, and contains a sofabed. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences and dishware. The windows look out onto an inner courtyard so the flat is very quiet. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the whole apartment was, including the bed and sofabed.
The owner, Annie lives across the hall and was there to greet us when we arrived. She is very friendly and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and getting around the area. Getting and returning the key was painless and the cleaning deposit was refunded promptly.
