Why is EAGLES & ANTLERS Special?: Trish & Fred own Eagles & Antlers Retreat and lived in it for 8 years while renovating and improving both the property and the home. The house was built to be energy efficient; R55 insulation, 12 inch thick walls, low E glass windows. The retreat is also situated to take advantage of the wildlife in the area, and to give you the feeling of being in your own little forest. Pines, aspens, and sagebrush, wildflowers and native grasses surround the home and add a feeling of total privacy to the deck/waterfall/brook area. Sit with a glass of wine and a good book, or just take a nap and rest assured that no one will bother you. You may see elk and deer behind the house, or see the shadow of an eagle or other bird of prey soar above you....but that all adds to the peaceful nature of the setting.
Trish & Fred have operated a very successful vacation home in San Diego for 5 years and take the business seriously. They are also Wilderness Ranch residents who are passionate about sharing Idaho!
