Ideal West Village location at corner of Bedford and Christopher streets, a minute walk from famous Bleecker Street and two blocks from beautiful Hudson River Park. The apartment is located in the Greenwich Village Historical District, and is a part of a Greek revival townhouse build in 1847. The building and the apartment are well preserved and maintained. The apartment is very close to shopping, cafes, galleries, bars ,all kinds of restaurants and much much more, everything is nearby including grocery shops, laundry services, playground for kids and all kinds of transport possible to all over Manhattan and outside (Subway, Path train, Buses,).

This is a great, cozy, warm, fully equipped and very comfortable apartment. One out of two apartments in a private town house, 5-6 steps up the street level with a very nice private patio/ garden.

Perfect for 1 or 2 couples, a couple with kids or 2 singles.

A perfect place for a great vacation in NYC.

House manual: This is a real one bedroom apartment with high ceiling, huge french windows , hard wood floors, lots of light and tons of character. It has a nice living room with a new leather 3 seater sofabed, a dinning table for 4 to 6 people, and an old original fireplace ( not to be used by guests ), a 47'' Lcd TV with cable. Internet WiFi throughout the apartment. A cozy bedroom with a Queen size very comfortable bed ( pillowcase luxury mattress ) and 42' Lcd Tv with independent cable . A small and well equipped kitchen, bathroom with tub. Towels and linen are provided.

There is a garden / patio access with table, chairs and even a barbecue.

Comfort in a great location

We sayed in this great apartment for a few nights in early May. We were impressed by the comfort, size and decor and every need was catered for. The location is excellent. Just a walk to the subway with many cafes and coffee shops for breakfast and in a beautiful tree lined street.
So much better than a hotel, both more economical and much more spacious.
Communication with owner was very easy and return of security deposit immediate.
I would definately recommend.

Firstly, the customer service is first-rate. Oded, the owner, and Yossi, the manager are ever available and accomadating . Having lived in New York in my student years, I must say that it is rare to be provided such prompt and genuine attention in matters of real estate in the city.

The location on the corner of Bedford leads you down a beautifully maintained street with historical townhouses which are simply elegant. Additionally, there are several intimate eateries on Bedford serving a variety of cuisines You will note French fare, Mid-Eastern health food, Italian paninis and even a South American spot.

Lastly, the apartment is nothing short of perfection. The owner's wife has provided a well stocked kitchen, ample linen, swagged drapes,two flat screened T V's, lovely art pieces and my favorite, a pristine white flowering plant..memorable, indeed. We are already planning our return springtime stay.

Lovely apartment in a wonderful location

I spent a week here with my son and his girlfriend. The two rooms provided a most welcomed intimacy. The place is carefully decorated and provides all what you need including the two TVs with plenty of choices. Even when the area has a lot of movement, the place is wonderfully quiet. It was really easy to move anywhere as there is plenty of public transport (we mostly used the subway station two very short blocks away). The High Line and the meatpacking district are at walking distance and the area provides all kinds of restaurants both in style and cost (including a Starbucks half a block away).You may find a supermarket a block away, nails spa as well ( important for me at least), you name it you have it. The patio was quite lovely for having drinks in the warm summer nights. Oded was prompt to answer every request and even provided support when my bank messed up with a payment. The deposit was promptly reimbursed and all conditions were as agreed. Yossi walks the extra mile to accommodate requests and is easy to reach for any need. They both are very kind and caring.We deeply enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning.

Feel like a local

The apartment was a bit of a surprise, booking online can be a bit of a gamble, especially when payment is prior to your stay, but rest assured the apartment is lovely and very well located. Oded and Yossi were only an email away to answer any questions you may have, both were very professional and easy to deal with.

If you are a SATC fan you will love staying here, the famous steps to Carries apartment are 3 streets away.

The sub way is very close by, 4 stops ( maybe 5 ) and you are in Times Square, few stops the other way and your in Battery Park.

The dry cleaners are two shops down, along with a nice Indian restaurant. Pizza across the road and a fab cafe adjacent to apartment ( next to the barber shop ) was great for breakfast.

Towards the end of the week it gets a little noisy in the street with bar goers staying out till day break, if only I still had the stamina.

To sum it up, it's a very comfortable and homely apartment in a vibrant area. Where we felt safe wondering around in at all hours of the day and night

Great apartment!

This was my first time staying in NYC for more than a few days, and I would highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for something perfectly located and aesthetically pleasing. The apartment is very nice on the inside--lots of comfortable seating (including leather pull-out sofa), 2 big flat screen TVs, wood coffee and dining tables, and a decorative fireplace. A sliding door separates the bedroom from the rest of the apartment, which is convenient if you are with another couple. The art and décor made me feel like I was in a home, not a rental. The kitchen is a little small but fully equipped and functional. There is also a terrace that overlooks Christopher St. and it is the perfect place to have a drink and relax. The apartment is in the heart of West Village, and is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques, and other essentials like a laundry service, grocery store, gym, and subway. It is very close to the Hudson River, and if you have a car, there is free parking in the area and easy access to main roads and the Holland Tunnel. I stayed here with my boyfriend and we found ourselves spending a lot of time in this apartment. It is overall very comfortable, has everything you need, including the most comfortable bed that has ever existed! It was the perfect apartment and I look forward to staying here again!
