About Wendy Gadsden
We are a couple in our mid sixties who made the permanent move to PEI in 2009 from our native Ontario. We had been visitors to the island for many years, and fell in love with it like so many others. We built Glasgow Hills Hideaway with the intention of renting it when we unable to use it in 2005. After a few years of longing to be in PEI more than a few weeks a year, we made the move to the quaint fishing village of North Rustico. We love our life on the island and haven't looked back. We have three sons. Our eldest son Jeff and his wife Corie live in New York City with their 4 children all under the age of 5. Jeff is a busy anesthesiologist. They are making a move to Raleigh-Durham this spring. Our middle son David and his wife Laura live in Toronto with their three children 8, 5 and 3. David practices law and is a partner with a large Toronto firm. Our youngest son Brad and his wife Julie have an 18 month old little girl and expecting their second this summer. Brad is an elementary teacher in Toronto and lives in Richmond Hill. We all gather in PEI in the summer and our children and grandchildren love it as much as we do. Jeff and I have been in the antique business for more than 35 years and Jeff is a retired high school teacher. We sneak away to Florida for a few months until those warm breezes return to the island and we can get back on our bikes and hit the trails. A very important member of the family I have neglected to mention is our 10.5 year old border collie. I hope that gives a little introduction to the Gadsden family.

Why Wendy Gadsden chose North Rustico
This property is set high on a hill with fabulous views. The setting is rural, yet only minutes to North Rustico that offers all amenities. We have excellent reviews telling us how much our guests love the privacy, the layout of the home, the 60' veranda, screened in porch and back deck. The furnishings are attractive and comfortable, with top quality linens and bedding. The two living areas and two four piece baths are ideal for a family or two couples. Begin your day with a cup of coffee on the front deck watching the eagles sore overhead. After a hectic day at the beach a glass of wine and setting sun are a joy on the back deck. Maybe a game of horseshoes while the kids play on the swing and in the sandbox. Our consistent 5 out of 5 reviews really tell it all.
What makes this house unique
Peace and solitude yet close to great restaurants, the beach, amusement parks, water parks, grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor store, fish market hiking and biking trails in the National Park.
