Hidden paradise in the heart of Key Largo

Cute cottage with lovely view of the water. Sits approximately 120' from the beach. Two bedrooms (one with double-size bed and the other queen-size), and a kitchen in between, make it workable and very affordable for two couples or a family. The cottage sits on a three acres of lushly landscaped, privately-owned property. Pets are welcome and wireless internet access is available on the entire property. Quietly tucked away in the heart of Key Largo, this gulf side property is a unique vacation spot, where you and your family can relax beneath the swaying palms, swim, fish, and play on the beach. Our friendly 'compound' includes 2 other rental houses, plus a small marina. A fishing jetty, gently swaying palms, and a few other residents and guests add to the laid-back, 'keysey' charm. Located about an h below Miami, Key Largo is the first island in the chain known as the Florida Keys. This is an ideal spot for those who love to fish and dive, as well as enjoy beautiful sunsets and tropical living. Our cottage is close to many of the local attractions, such as John Pennecamp State Park, where you can dive or snorkel the tropical reef. We have great local restaurants that serve the finest fresh seafood. Key Largo is also the sport fishing capital of the world.

    Rates are plus 12.5% tax & $75 cleaning fee. 50% is required to hold reservation. Balance due upon arrival. Visa, MasterCard, or Discover accepted. $30 wire transfer fee. A $250 security deposit is required but may be held on credit card. Dockage for one small boat (under 30') is included. Reservation deposits refundable up to 60 days prior. Pets welcome.

My husband and I stayed here in the Banana-Cabana for a week. Our stay was mid to end of August 2009. It was wonderful! The sunsets alone will bring us back...the location is fantastic, the people so very friendly...and Tanya was wonderful! This was a year late 'honeymoon' for us, and it was well worth the wait! Great accomodations...everything you need is there, and extremely clean as well! Our next visit we hope will be within the year...we are already excited about making another trip to Key Largo. Maybe this time, we'll stay longer!
