The first floor has a foyer with adjoing mud/ski room, family room with sliders to the rear yard, two bunk rooms, one with two sets of single bunks and one with a queen lower bed and single upper bed, a full bath and laundry room all on the fist level. There is also an attached heated garage with ping pong and fuzball.
The 2nd floor has a spacious living room with wood burning fireplace overlooking a huge deck with a hot tub, there is a dining area and large open kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances, plus two master suites each with king beds and their own bath, plus a powder room off the living area. All rooms have cathedral ceilings and lovely views of Okemo Mountain.
Thank you very much for letting us use your beautiful house this weekend! And Deb, thank you for making sure everything went so smoothly. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay there again for a ski weekend next year if you are renting .Hope you all have a great 2012.
We absolutely loved staying in this home! It was clean and comfortable (including the beds). It was the perfect size for 2 families. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. Okemo & the town were only minutes away which was very convenient. We hope to come back again next year. Thanks to Burton and Susy (owners) for maintaining such a lovely home, and thanks to Deb (property manager) for being so helpful with our visit!
Our home is located on South Hill just under a mile from the center of the Main Street in Ludlow Vermont. Ludlow has a lovely downtown area with restaurants, shops, convenience, hardware and grocery stores. The down town is only a mile from the OKEMO Mountain base lodge. Okemo is know for its wonderful snow making and excellent grooming. So grab your skis or snow board and head on over to Okemo for a fun family day at the mountain.
There are several lakes a few miles to the north and west of Ludlow. Great for swimming and boating in the summer and ice fishing or ice skating in the winter. The VAST system snow mobile trails run through Ludlow and offer approximately 6000 miles of trails to explore throughout Vermont.
Spring, Summer and Fall offer many other activities like hiking, kayaking, golf at the award winning Okemo Valley Golf Course or just some fine dining with friends. There are lots of things to see and places to visit within a 10 to 20 miles from Ludlow.
