My husband and I found this property by accident on Home away. Our son was getting married at the winery and we stayed at this cute little house right on the vineyard. We had a week to spend there and it was truly lovely. The house was clean and well maintained. The outdoor grill was fabulous, gas and charcoal! The winery staff are so friendly and helpful. We also must mention the wine was wonderful. We took a case home. The wedding was great and the staff made sure to attend to every detail. The property is close to Alexandria bay and Clayton. We did a boat tour and explored Boldt Castle. We even did a day trip to Canada. It was a good way to also celebrate our 30th anniversary. I would certainly recommend this property to our friends. I would stay there again and hope to go back someday. :)

Our stay in this home was very comfortable. The home was clean, air conditioned, and the basic amenities were available. The home is centrally located with short distance travel to A-Bay, Welsey Island and Clayton, along with numerous attractions. The back deck is only a few feet from Heather's Vineyard and we were able to view, interact and learn from workers as they managed the vineyard. The winery is within walking distance from the home; the staff are friendly and outgoing, there is free wine tasting and we received a discount on our purchase. An additional plus was viewing the nest of Osprey in the front yard of the Winery. I have no complaints, everyone in our party enjoyed themselves and had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

The place was great! Very clean and relaxing. The vineyards were beautiful and the cottage had everything you could possibly need during a stay. Steve is very friendly and helpful and the Winery staff were awesome as well. I definitely loved that bottled water was there for us to use as the water up there is a bit icky, especially for someone whose water comes from a spring at home. The winery discount we got was an extra bonus. Great views as well. Thanks for everything! I will recommend to my friends :-)

The place was great! I especially loved that you provided water for us to use as the water up there is quite horrible. I would go back again and recommend it to anyone that is staying in Alex Bay. You had everything we could possibly want and need for our stay. Love that the winery is right next door. My friends loved the free tastings and discount we got. Great views as well. Thanks for everything!

The cottage was excellent, clean and easily accessed. The rooms were acomfortable in size and furnishing. The bathrooms were clean and there was a generous supply of linens. We used the outdoor deck a lot because the weather was beautiful. The view was wonderful. The grill outside was a plus. We used this area as a base to visit Niagara Falls and Montreal. It worked perfect for us.
