Westgate's western decor is mountain elegance at its' best with astonishing spaciousness, vaulted ceilings, family & dining areas, sitting room, 2 bedrooms, 2 king size beds, 2 queen sleeper sofas, convertible sleepers, 2 fully functional kitchens, 2 full baths with a master bath & shower next to the master bedroom with an oversized jetted tub & steam shower.

The elegance of Westgate is presented in the living room with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, which allow for lots of natural light to fill the entire space. The living room is a place to relax with a warm fireplace, 42" HDTV and plush furnishings. Just off of the living room is your private balcony with views of the mountain side.

To prepare fantastic meals for you, your family and guests, a beautiful gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances is at your disposal with all of the comforts of home and the best finishings and fixtures. The gourmet style chef's kitchen features granite counters, attractive cherry wood cupboards & stainless steel appliances (french door fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove) throughout. The dining room is just next to the kitchen and can comfortably accommodate eight (8) people. An additional vanity / bar is just in the hallway and is perfect for serving guests and family on vacation.

The master bedroom (1) features a king size bed, high quality linens/bedding, floor to ceiling windows, a dresser, laptop nook with flatscreen HDTV and en suite bathroom to suit all of your needs. The master bathroom is accented by the stone tiled Jacuzzi jetted tub, a his and hers vanity, granite counters and a large steam/rainfall shower.

Since this property is a penthouse two-bedroom property, the second bedroom is presented as a guest suite with a gourmet kitchenette, living room/lounge, flatscreen HDTV and features another bedroom and another bathroom. The gourmet kitchenette features granite counters and high quality appliances including a mini-fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster. Like the master bedroom, the guest bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, HDTV, high quality linens/bedding and floor to ceiling windows with privacy coverings. The second bathroom is second to none with a granite vanity and large steam/rainfall shower.

Kids Rule

Children ages 2-12 are welcome at the Kid's Club at Westgate for supervised fun while parents enjoy some time to ski or enjoy the amenities available at the resort. The creative approach actively engages youngsters and provides a fun active environment for them to enjoy their stay. The Kid's Club has video games, arts and crafts, games, organized fun and a friendly staff who care for your children while you are busy having a good time.

The Marketplace

Stop by the Marketplace for all your grocery needs. The Marketplace is also The Canyons' only Official Utah State Liquor Agency and features a wide variety of wines and full bottle liquor. Perfect Place for Our Family Vacation!

As a last minute trip before school starts, my family and I decided to travel to Park City, Utah for the weekend. Upon our arrival, we were pleased to see that the place was bright, clean and ready just for us. This property has a great view of the mountain side and the interior layout and design was more than we hoped for - the photos were quality, but the real thing was better. Westgate is a great resort with great amenities. The kids just loved the pools and gameroom, while I quite enjoyed the spa and hiking the Canyons. This vacation rental was a fantastic place for a family and I would highly recommend it to anyone. And I'd like to give a big thanks to the iTrip Park City team for making the reservation process so easy and quickly following up on our special requests.

Renter beware

I just left my vacation at this unit. I planned a surprised BDay party for my girlfriend and flew her parents in to stay in adjoining unit. The parents arrived first and checked in and we were on the road all day. They just happened to take a peek into our unit about 6:30 PM and there was trash, towels and a dirty diaper on the floor. Dirty dishes and expired food and milk in the refrigerator. They called down and advised the front desk and they tried to throw it together. We arrived at 8 and still not ready and we did not even receive much of an apology. Needless to say, it would not have been close to ready if my In-Laws did not call down. Next, the unit is drastically in need of repair. One of the kitchen cabinets is off the hinges and falls off when you open it, only 1 remote worked, bedside dresser door in the adjoining is completely off and on the floor, the phones in the main room and unit b did not work, dining chair loose and coming apart, toilet seats loose and slide around, bedside shelf in master is off and loose, the TP holders in both units are coming off the walls and most importantly the jets in the Hot tub did not work. I tried to send the PM an email on Friday afternoon and did not hear back until Sat at 3:30 offering to move us but at that point we were not going to pack everything up. They did leave a message at my office Friday night but I was clearly on Vacation and did not get the message until Tuesday. My cell number was listed right next to my work number so I am not sure why they called my office. The PM blamed the Hotel and the Hotel didn't seem to care so it is difficult to figure out who can help if you run into such issues. The PM also stated that they would speak to the owner about the repairs so I guess they are only in charge of the reservation process. Anyway, my trip and surprise was not what I had hoped and if you are considering staying here I would try my luck with one of the other units in the area. If you stay here you might want to bring 3 items. Patience, batteries and a tool kit. Sadly, I did not receive this advice. The unit has a great view of the mountainside and would probably deliver as advertised if the unit was maintained better. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Thank you for your feedback and I will do my best to address your concerns.

Once again, we would like to profusely apologize for the state of the condo prior to your arrival and for the negative effect it had on your vacation. Unfortunately, the previous Guests decided not to leave the property until way after the late check-out time, causing it to be missed by Housekeeping the second time around. Since Westgate requires all Owners to use their housekeeping services, as dictated by resort rules, we can sometimes be at their mercy. Again, I’m sorry for this inconvenience and we should be better prepared to avoid such instances.

I followed-up on your concern about communications with reservations and the PM and in reviewing communication logs and emails, they did receive your email on the Friday and responded back same day; reservation logs also show the same. With regards to the maintenance items you describe, thank you for contacting us with all issues during your stay and we again apologize for the inconvenience of having to address all repairs were made while you were in-house.

Again, our sincerest apologies for disrupting your surprise birthday getaway and we hope that after the initial problems, you were able to enjoy your weekend in Park City.

The suite and resort made for a great and relaxing family ski vacation. All the amenities that you could ask for were available and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The property managers were very helpful and easy to work with as we had to rearrange our plans. The suite is clean, well stocked and conveniently located .
