Great House, Great Location, Great Getaway...

A couple years ago, my friends and I started an annual tradition of renting a house in Palm Springs for a weekend during the summer. We just hang out by the pool, play games and hit up a couple bars. Everyone agreed this house was the best one we've stayed in so far (the first year we used Palm Springs Vacation Rentals; last year and this year we used Home Away -- last year and this year were both properties from Palm Springs A-List Homes). What we liked about the Betty Grable House was the new, modern decor, the huge bedrooms, the common area, the beautiful mountain view and the location. The house lives up to the pictures on this site -- it's very clean and spacious. The kitchen area is a great place to hang out. The house is located in a quiet residential area and is right around the corner from a little strip mall with a Ralphs and a couple restaurants -- and it's just a few minutes from downtown PS. James and Hal from PS A-List Homes made things really simple and hassle-free and were very friendly. This was the first house where we had no problems with the AC, so that was a HUGE plus since we always go in July. Small drawbacks: the pool is a good size but smaller than some other homes. Also, some more pool toys would be nice. Additionally, we couldn't figure out how to get the fire pit started. Overall, I definitely recommend this house and PS A-List Homes.
