We purchased this property in April 2012, close to Saint Etienne du Gres, because of its charm, commodities and for being just 6 minutes away from Saint Rémy de Provence, in a quiet location.

The first storey has a magnificent view over the Alpilles

The gardens with trees are lovely

There are no close neighbours

Very well designed house

Completely restored

With new furniture and layout

Entirely equipped

There are plenty of modern and antique objects, as well as books (large library)

It is the ideal place for family vacations, groups of friends or couples

It is ideally located, as Saint Rémy de Provence was rated as the best city to live by Forbes magazine

It is surrounded by some important cities as Aix en Provence, Avingnon, Arles (rated as a World Heritage Site) and its museum, Marseille, 2013 European culture capital, and its MuCEM, le Luberon (Opède, Ménerbe, Goult, Bonnieux and Gordes, its jewel).

It is also a gastronomic region with many starred chefs (Cabre d'Or, Baumanière, Marc de Passario, ReineSamut) and many others.

Water and mountain activities 80 km away

villa sans soucis

Nous avons passé de splendides vacances dans cette spatieuse et charmante maison, qui est chaleureusement aménagée. La maison est parfaitement équipée, rien ne manque, l'équipement est plus qu'abondant.
La piscine au sel est située côté sud et dans le jardin, il y a beaucoup de place à l'ombre- indispensable pendant les journées chaudes. Aussi : grande table à l'abri pour manger dehors, même par temps de pluie.
Le quartier est très calme, à courte distance du village (boulangers, épicerie, boucher, poissonier) et facile d'accès si on a envie de rayonner sur toute cette belle région : Les Baux, Saint Rémy, Arles, Nîmes, Avignon, Orange, Aix, la Camargue ..... Des infos pratiques et conseils sur toutes les villes, sites, activités et restaurants sont mises à disposition par les propriétaires.
Nous les félicitons de leur parfaite disponibilité aux questions que nous avions avant la location définitive et au cours de notre séjour. Nous les remercions de leur accueil très chaleureux et personnel et le service qui était parfaitement à la hauteur - ils ont le goût du contact et du rapport humain !
En conclusion : nous trouvons la maison une destination parfaite pour passer des vacances sans aucun soucis !

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances dans cette maison et nous la recommandons sans problème. Nous avons cherché mais il n'y a rien à dire de négatif. La maison est propre, fonctionnelle, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a 5 vraies chambres (ce n'est pas le cas de toutes les locations)nous étions 10 personnes et ne nous sommes pas marché les uns sur les autres. Les 2 patios permettent de vivre à l'extérieur sans souffrir de la chaleur estivale. Les propriétaires sont charmants, arrangeants et très serviables. Nous avons pu bénéficier de la maison dès notre arrivée car la maison était libre. Nous avons été accueillis le matin de notre arrivée par un petit déjeuner, des fruits, du champagne au réfrigérateur et du très bon vin.
St Etienne du Grès est un petit village. Vous avez une boulangerie qui fait du très bon pain, une petite épicerie, un bureau de tabac et un bureau de poste à 500 m de la maison.
La propriétaire nous avait préparé un petit livret à notre nom avec toutes les visites et activités à faire. Laissez-vous guider par ce livret et vous ne serez pas déçus. Nous vous recommandons les Baux de provence qui est un village magnifique, Avignon bien sûr et son Palais des Papes, St Rémy de Provence et bien d'autres villages.

LA BASTIDE DES OLIVIERS, built in 2001 with a Provencal style, has been completely restored in May 2012 with new equipment.

The 190 sq.m.villa has two storeys, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 separate toilets.

3 bedrooms are air-conditioned. Each bedroom has its own safe.

The 50 sq.m. house has a fireplace, a satellite flat screen TV, DVD player, IFI (outdoor) video player.

A well-equipped traditional kitchen, with direct access to the outdoor dining area, and a second dining area next to the pool.

The house has a game room, plenty of sports equipment, a bowling green and 3 private parking spaces.

The garden is decorated with hundred-year-old olive trees, not overlooked, assuring absolute quiet, and a counter current 5x10 m. swimming pool.

The charming village is only 300 m away from the house, and there you will find all services. Just 6 minutes away from Saint Rémy de Provence.

The region is blessed with its location, its climate, the magnificent Alpilles nature park, the nearby Camargues, Le Luberon (Godes, Ménerbe, BonnieuxRousillon, )

Do not forget gastronomy! (there are plenty of starred chefs in the region)
