This is an Austrian-designed condominium located in the Midlake Community at The Villages on Big Boulder Lake. It is a 2nd floor lakefront unit located along the shoreline of our 175-acre, spring-fed Big Boulder Lake with spectacular views. You are within minutes of Big Boulder Ski Area and Jack Frost Mountain for snow sports during the winter. During the summer sit back and relax on the private balcony and take in the beautiful scenery and sunsets over the lake or you can take a walk along the tree lined paths around the lake. This home features a spacious living room with a wood burning fireplace, a formal dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen.
In this one level unit you will find the comfortable living room, dining room and the kitchen. Sliding glass doors in the dining room will take you out to your own private balcony. There is one bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. The Main level also offers 2 full bathrooms.
During the winter months snow sports are available at Big Boulder Ski Area which is on site and also at Jack Frost Mountain which is a short drive away. One lift ticket gets you access to both! Snow tubing is also available.
Spring, summer and fall offer a variety of activities. There is always plenty to do. Staying in this home will give you access to a private outdoor heated pool for Midlake guests only and also the Lake Mountain Club facilities, which is a short distance away. These facilities consist of outdoor heated pools, Big Boulder Lake which has a beach area for swimming, boat rentals & fishing available (with PA fishing license), tennis courts, basketball court and volley ball. There are many golf courses in the area including the newly opened Jack Frost National only 7 miles away.
Hickory Run State Park is 10-15 minutes away. There you can enjoy hiking on many marked trails, have a picnic in the pavilion area or take a dip in the lake. The Crossings outlet stores are a short 25 minutes away if shopping is what you prefer. Paintball and whitewater rafting are also available nearby. Or you can always just come up to sit back and relax. So pull up a chair and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Pocono Mountains.
