Villa Marjorie is located on the beach at Silver Beach, George Town, Exuma, Bahamas. It has been completely remodeled and updated. She is a two bedroom and two bathroom beach house with central air conditioning, modern kitchen with stainless steel LG appliances and granite counter tops and living room and dining area with a 42 inch flat screen LG TV.

Each bedroom has a 32 inch flat screen TV and is nicely appointed with dark wood furniture and enjoys incredible views of the sparkling turquoise waters. All rooms lead to the beach by way of their own 8ft. sliding glass doors that open onto a 10ft. by 37ft. covered balcony that is literally a few steps to the water. Villa Marjorie is an 8 minute drive East from George Town International Airport and 12 minutes West of downtown George Town, Exuma

Great Exuma is one of the 700 islands that make up the island chain of the Bahamas. The islands of Exuma are about 35 miles southeast of Nassau. Great Exuma is only 70 minutes from Miami by plane. The Exumas themselves are a 120 mile long 365 island chain within the Out Islands chain within the Bahamas chain. Great Exuma is a 72 square mile semi-tropical island encircled by amazingly beautiful beaches and exquisite unspoiled turquoise waters. Great Exuma and Little Exuma are 80 sq. miles, and Exuma cays are 40 sq. miles. The island's latitude is 23.50° N and longitude is 75.78° W.

Exuma's capital, George Town, the largest settlement, is located on Great Exuma and is home to about 1,000 people. Quaint and quiet, the town is the administrative center of the Exumas. There are a several shops, 2 grocery stores, a post office, gas station and a bank. There are several restaurants in the area, which also provide nightlife in the form of live bands and dancing.

This house has everything you will need for a perfect getaway. It was clean and well appointed, WIFI worked well and the beds were sooo comfortable. This is a beautiful house on the best beach I think on the island. Jenna the owner was great and aranged to have us met at the airport. I will return next year.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Marjorie. The kitchen/living room/dinning room were an open lay out which was ideal with a 2 year old in tow. The bedrooms and bathroom were large. The home was fairly new, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The beach was just feet away and practically deserted. The owner and manager were very helpful and accommodating.
