Nearby Villeneuve-sur-lot boasts the most pavement cafes and restaurants in the region + 3 weekly markets including 1 organic . On Friday mornings our own little 13th C town of Ste Livrade which sits on the banks of the river Lot, 3 minutes by car, hosts a colourful market full of local produce and delicious treats. There are also some great local restaurants. Agen, the capital nestled on the banks of the river Garonne, with its shops, restaurants and historical sites is half an hour drive away.
