This stylishly furnished studio apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and cozy as you enjoy all that Historic Savannah and Tybee Island have to offer. Perfect for a single or couple to enjoy. The studio is located in the rear of the owner's fenced property. There is a double bed and a futon. The fully equipped kitchen gives you the option to eat in. A washer/dryer is also included. You can sit outside in the semi-private courtyard and sip your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.

This location offers the convenience of getting to the downtown historic district or the beach without the high price of staying there. The center of Wilmington Island is just a walk away. You'll find several restaurants, grocery stores, the famous Savannah Bee Company all less than a mile away.

TV with cable and wireless internet provided. We have a gas grill, beach chairs and bikes available for your use.

My only complaint is that I didnt find this cottage sooner. Nothing more could have been asked. Having been in hospitality and private/historic residential caretaking, I am a very harsh critic and I highly recommend staying here. If you have transportation and can deal with a bit of traffic you are all set. I will return myself.

A wonderful stay...

Our stay on Wilmington Island couldn't have been more perfect. We have one 9 year old child, and she is not quite happy yet to stay in her own room in new surroundings. Here, we were able to open the very comfortable futon for her and we all sleep soundly. We so appreciated the special touches...linens and towels were fresh and clean and tied with a ribbon; movie collection filmed in the area; tasteful book collection; soaps, shampoos, etc...; bottle of wine in the refrigerator-who could ask for more! The cottage was very clean and surprisingly quiet (it is right next to main house), with a lovely azalea walkway and private outdoor table and chairs. The location is absolutely ideal for visiting both Tybee Island (check out A.J.'s restaurant) and Savannah, approximately 15 minutes in either direction.

Perfect for my short trip!

This little cottage studio was perfect for my needs! I only had a couple of days and ended up spending far more time than I'd wished working, but it was a great place to stay. It is not too far from downtown savannah which is convenient, but out of the tourist area.

I was able to see a bit of Savannah and hope to come back again and stay longer! It was very clean and once I figured out where in the place to sit to get the wi-fi (you do have to be close to the main house, which is a little inconvenient if you have to spend as much time working as I did - so try to just have fun!), it was fabulous. Loved it and will plan to go back again!

Plus, Mary Ellen left a bottle of wine in the fridge (which I drank!) as a welcome, which was very sweet and thoughtful.

Everything was great. Good location between Tybee Island and Savannah. Quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again.

This guest house is a short drive to both the busy Savannah area and the quiet beaches of Tybee Island. We found the location perfect for our visit to the area, the guest house was very clean, comfortable and private. The internet connection was very slow but usable. We would definately recommend anyone looking for a place near Savannah to strongly consider this location.
