NICE- DREAM VACATION, PANORAMIC VIEW ON BAY DES ANGES, PROMENADE DES ANGLAIS

We arrived from cold and rainy Paris, to bright warm sunshine to stay at this marvellous penthouse condo, which was equipped with everything you could possible need. The view was spectacular. Beautiful furnishings. Shops &restaurants just steps away, Could have stayed for months but, alas had to return to Canada. Thank you Jacquiline for sharing your wonderful home with us.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this apartment in late June of 2012. It was by far the highlight of our visit to Southern France. The apartment is spacious and has great views over Bay of Nice. We went swimming every day right across from the apartment at the free beach.

The apartment was large, clean, with great terraces. I was able to park my rental car free of charge outside on the street during the weekend. The apartment is close to everything in Nice, has a bus stop right outside if you need public transportation (a good deal for trips to Monaco).

I looked around a lot for Hotels in Nice before I booked this and was so surprised at what a great deal it was to have this large apartment overlooking the Mediterranean. A similar view in a shoe box Hotel room would have cost much more.

When we booked there were no reviews so I was a little nervous, but Jacqueline the owner was very understanding, and I contacted someone who was staying at one of her rentals in Paris who only had good things to say about her. I can see why, everything was as she said it would be, and I’m sure to return to her place in Nice!

My wife, and I just came back from spending a week at this lovely apartment in Nice.
We were traveling with my sister-in-law and her daughter.
All four of us had a wonderful time and were amazed that we were fortunate enough to be able to stay in such an amazing home.
The location, directly on the best part of the famous Promenade des Anglais is just perfect.
Just a couple of blocks away from the historic Hotel Negresco and walking distance from the old town.
There are many restaurants and shops in the neighborhood and the beach is literally across the street.
The views from the wrap-around terrace is absolutely spectacular.
We had a hard time forcing ourselves to go inside.
The home is elegantly furnished, clean, and spacious.
The building has excellent security with multiple levels of locked gates, as well as keyed or coded locks limiting access to only those who are authorized.
(Including the elevator/lift!)
The kitchen was well stocked with all appliances, as well as cooking utensils, pots, etc.
There is a very nice grocery store and great bakery just around the corner on Rue de France.
We bought fresh baguettes and croissants every morning to have breakfast on the terrace with those amazing views.
The bathroom was very clean and spacious. The additional half-bath was nice since there was four of us.
The master bedroom also has a small terrace looking north toward the mountains over a courtyard.
I can talk about this apartment for pages and have nothing but positive things to say.
It really is a lovely place and we consider ourselves lucky for finding it and being able to spend a week there.
The owner and her agent were very friendly and helpful.
It made our stay in the south of France so much more special staying in such a beautiful place.
