The perfume of the carob and myrtle trees, the lemon and ancient olive groves, the heavy branches of lilac wisteria, the wild rosemary and an unforgettable view as far as the eye can see - this is the magical combination of Amalfi Coast nature to be discovered at House Oliver. House Oliver can accommodate two to five guests. The main bedroom has large wardrobes, safety-box and a full bathroom en-suite with shower and sea view. The lounge area, with its cool terracotta tiles and wide windows embracing the sea, has a color television and a two-seater sofa bed by Divani & Divani by Natuzzi. It is the perfect relaxing space to retire to after a day of enjoying the coast. The complete modern kitchen boasts a new oven with gas cook top and overlooks a cozy four-seat dining table. And why not a tinker on the antique piano after dinner? The bright dining area also comes with more of those luscious sea views.
There is also another bathroom with shower situated near the lounge area and House Oliver is also air-conditioned and a beautiful terrace with lemon trees, where you could admire an amazing sea view...
House Oliver is only ten minutes by foot to the centre of Amalfi where it is possible to choose between various fine-dining restaurants with accessible prices and true Mediterranean cooking.

At the risk of repeating all the wonderful things that have been written about Oliver and Lella I feel compelled to do so. They are truly wonderful hosts and Oliver will go out of his way to insure that the time spent at his well tended villa is perfect in every sense. A spring holiday for three of us was one we will never forget not only for the beautiful landscape of the Amalfi coast, the wonderful food and wine and the lemons, my god, the lemons!
The house is very thoughtfully organized to make it user friendly and with every convenience one would want.
Being early in the season we were not able to partake of the garden they were planting for their guests and Oliver's boat was not yet ready but we enjoyed the lemons and Oliver arranged another boat for us and spent the day with us providing his inimitable take on the coast he loves so much. The boat trip is, as others have said, is worth every penny. We cannot recommend House Oliver more highly. A few tips for those lucky enough to stay here. Oliver's restaurant recommendations are excellent of course but be sure to try Lido Azzuro at lunch time in Amalfi. Also a warning; do not buy wine from D'Vino in Ravello aka Wine Amalfi Coast or Antonio Mansi. He is a thief and a liar. We are currently battling over Euro 1000 worth of wine that he has failed to deliver. There are other warnings on Trip Advisor about this crook (which I wish we had read before we fell into his hands) but the more the better. Apart from that enjoy your stay at House Oliver!
Five of our family traveled to the Amalfi coast in October and stayed at House Oliver. What a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend this place. Lella and Oliver were the nicest and most accommodating hosts. They have thought of everything to make anyone's stay comfortable, memorable, and relaxing. We could not have asked for any better place to stay. The views are incredible. We have stayed in other villas before and now would not even consider staying anywhere else. The villa is centrally located to anything you would want to do. Oliver and Lella have great contacts for transportation and restaurants. Don't forget to do Oliver's boat excursion. Truly an enjoyable time and view of the coast. Perfecto!!!!!!!
Four of us traveled to Italy for three weeks September/October. Our final week was in Amalfi and we were ecstatic to find ourselves at House Oliver. Oliver and Lella are the most gracious of hosts. It begins with a wonderful greeting by Oliver with Prosecco and Campari and it does not stop there. Each and every day Oliver and Lella would check in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Let me tell you - if you need it Oliver will make it happen. We happened to mention that we prefer a larger coffee maker and magically it appeared in our villa that very day - now that is customer service.
Oliver makes sure you understand the SITA (bus) system, makes restaurant recommendations and ensures you know where to shop for food (or actually picks up fresh fish and provides instructions on how to cook it). Our first evening in Amalfi Oliver sent us to Atrani and what a delight that was. We arrived at a very small Piazza full of families with children playing, people enjoying a football (soccer) game on TV, cheering loudly and enthusiastically, while others enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Mistral as we did. What a perfect way to start our stay in Amalfi.
The Villa is absolutely lovely - the pictures are just as you see on their WEB site. Clean, spacious with an incredible terrace where we spent many hours looking at the stunning view of Minori and Maiori. The beds are outstanding, comfortable with clean crisp sheets. The daily cleaning and laundry service was excellent! And outside the Villa are many beautiful flower gardens. It is all so lovingly maintained.
House Oliver is perfectly situated. You can walk to Atrani, Minori, Maiori and to the centre of Amalfi all within a few kilometers. Other towns were an easy (and somewhat interesting) distance by bus.
The absolute highlight of our trip was spending a day on Oliver's boat! Seeing the entire coast from the water is not to be missed! And spending the day on land with Claudio - touring all the towns - along with a long stop in Pompeii - is also not to be missed. Between Oliver and Claudio you get the very best history lesson of this beautiful area.
And if you would like a cooking lesson please invite Oliver and Lella over for dinner and Oliver will make you the best pasta you have ever had.
Thank you again Oliver and Lella for making our stay in your beautiful villa the highlight of our Italy trip.
What do you say about 2 glorious weeks on the Amalfi coast with hosts that were as gracious as Oliver and Lella? In a word: plenty! Let’s start with the arrival-Oliver waiting for us with a bottle of Prosecco and Campari. Not a bad way to begin your vacation.
The villa is charming with a wonderful view of both Minori and Maiori from the terrace. It’s hard to imagine that you are looking out at this scenery while enjoying breakfast or dinner-sometimes you have to pinch yourself and say: “Am I really on the Amalfi coast?” Words and even pictures don’t do it justice-you have to see it to believe it. Oliver is most helpful with giving you an overall view of the area; the local SITA bus schedules; where to shop for groceries and restaurants where you can enjoy a great lunch and/or dinner.
In the real estate world they always say that there are 3 criteria: location, location, location. If you’re planning to visit the Amalfi coast, look no further than House Oliver. You can walk to Atrani, to Minori, to Maiori and Amalfi. Positano is 20 km. away by bus; Sorrento another 15 km. from Positano. Walk to Atrani and eat at Mistral-lovely seafood dishes and enjoy the small children playing in the piazza while you eat and drink the local fare. It’s like you’ve gone back in time since you don’t see that anymore in our neighbourhoods.
Whatever you do, do NOT pass up the opportunity to spend the day on Oliver’s boat while touring the entire coast from the water. What an experience. You can’t imagine the beauty of this region until you see it from the water. Without question, one of the best days of my life.
Oliver and Lella are very proud of their villa. The gardens are beautifully maintained and you’re more than welcome to use their herb and vegetable garden while preparing dinner. The villa is clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The sheets are crisp and your laundry is done on a weekly basis for you.
I could probably write a book about the wonderful time my wife and I had with our friends who shared the villa with us; but, I will leave it at this and say: “Book House Oliver before it’s too late”.
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a 3 week stay at House Oliver.
We were able to share this experience with friends who joined us for parts of this holiday.
Our search began 2 years before and we finally settled on House Oliver.
We are so lucky to have found this gem.
There is a reason that this location gets such great reviews.
First there are the charming hosts, Oliviero & Lella, who made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived (with a Prosecco toast) till the day we left (with espresso ready). They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
They were also very helpful with suggestions of excursions to best enjoy our Amalfi experience.
Secondly, the villa is charming set up high with the most scenic view of the Amalfi coast from the patio where we spent many evenings and even had front row seats for several fireworks displays.
The villa is lovely surrounded by bougainvillea and olive and lemon trees. There are beautifully maintained gardens of flowers and vegetables. The accommodations are clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed with many little extras to enhance your stay. There are beautiful sea views from every window.
The pictures do not lie.
The villa is strategically located in the middle of the Amalfi coast. There are many lovely towns right nearby. If you're looking to live in the culture of the locals this is the place. It is possible to walk to Amalfi and the charming village of Atrani in one direction or to Maiori and Minori in the other direction. Of course the bus is also an option with a bus stop near the villa. Ravello is also quite close by. There is an option to walk up but we took the bus and walked down (10,000 steps, I think, I stopped counting). Although we often cooked in the convenient kitchen at the villa where all the staples were available, two of our favourite restaurants were: Mistral in Atrani for fabulous seafood and Giardiniello in Minori.
Not to be missed is the private day cruise on Oliviero's boat. Amalfi is beautiful but especially when seen from the water. Plus Oliviero will make you feel like royalty.
It was a pleasure to meet and get to know this charismatic couple. We felt like guests in their home.
We have memories to last for a lifetime.
As they say in Naples "E'iss" ( this is it).
We spent 10 days at House Oliver in mid to late September. The facilities are modern and clean and the owners were discreet, knowing when to check in with us or to leave us to our own devices. We were able to walk to Atrani, Amalfi, Minori, Maiori to see the sights and get locally grown produce and groceries, which we used to cook gourmet Italian meals in our kitchen. We enjoyed most meals on our terrace and, because it was so lovely, we managed to enjoy abundant quantities of good Italian wine, which is available at great prices. Lella's garden supplied us with fresh tomotoes, eggplant, zucchinis and lemons. We even walked down the staircase from Ravello, which took over an hour and gave us more insight into how people have lived on the Costiera Amalfitana for over a thousand years. The owners are also a good source of recommendations and contacts to organize day trips (e.g. vinyard tours, Pompeii, etc). Oliviero's boat cruise, which took the full day, was one of the highlights. We highly recommend House Oliver, with a small caution that it may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations.
