Period 2 BR apartment with contemporary interior one street from river

Situated in the heart of Bordeaux, with a view over the 'fairytale castle' of Porte Cailhau, Bordeaux Place du Palais is just one street back from the river and the linear park, and very close to the famous Place de la Bourse.

This two bedroom apartment is 53 sq meters. There is one double bed in the main bedroom and another in the second bedroom, and the fold-out couch can be used for a fifth guest. Amenities include an elevator, dishwasher and washing machine, Wi-Fi and Cable TV.

The apartment faces onto the square Place du Palais, where there are a number of excellent restaurants and around the corner a supermarket. In the surrounding area are many other restaurants, cafes, wine shops and small boutiques.

To reach other areas in the city, you need only walk for a couple of minutes to the tram stop, and the line will take you to the main train station and many other significant locations in the city.

This apartment is in the same building and on the same floor as The Key to Bordeaux (#93590) and the two apartments can be rented together to cater for a large family or group of friends.

Bordeaux Place du Palais apartment is also close to Rue St Catherine - the longest pedestrian shopping street in Europe - museums, art galleries and the famous Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux.

In the surrounding area open air food markets and antiques market are held weekly.

Further afield you can visit famous vineyards and elegant châteaux; pretty villages and the beautiful beaches surrounding the Bay of Arcachon.
