Tropical Paradise in Indian Wells Country Club

We recently rented this house from 8/2-8/5. Included were 8 adults, 4 kids, and 1 teenager. There was ample room throughout the house. Outside, was even better. The lot was amazing. LARGE yard on the left with horse-shoe pit. The pool was amazing and stretched to over 40 feet from end to end. A very pleasant surprise were the mist-ers all over the back yard. Pumping a mist of water in key areas to keep the yard cool. Another aspect that I noticed (and shows that the owners really know what they are doing) was that the shade provided by some of the large trees in the backyard created a great balance of hot sun tanning areas along with plenty of shady cool spots. And all of this is poolside. The right side of the yard had a great putting green with nice little touches that a golfer would appreciate. The basketball court was larger than expected and was well lit at night. The whole family had a great time in the house. Plenty of things to do for all ages. Lastly, the golf carts were really fun. They have headlights and tailights and function like a small car. The other 3 guys and myself are avid golfers, and we were able to drive the golf carts from the house to the private course and play for virtually nothing. (granted it was 4pm and the temp was 109 degrees) This may have only been the case because it was off season. We didn't know this going in, so it was an amazing treat for us. Our experience with Doc was great! What helped was that when he took the time to show us how to work the pool/spa, lighting, etc.....we paid attention! Any talk of a mirky pool and previous tenants was because they did not follow directions. He showed up once in the beginning and once at the end and was very pleasant to work with. Overall, this was a wonderful family vacation, and we would definitely look to rent this house again!
