This is one of the largest (3000 square feet) ski in ski out properties at the Canyons. It is twenty steps from your door to the ski slope. See the ski in ski out video just above the main picture to the left. The Vintage on the Strand can be skied to via the Lower Sunrise Ski run at The Canyons. The Canyons is the largest ski resort in Utah. Vintage on the Strand is situated just west (uphill) of The Sundial Lodge, and just up hill from the bottom of the gondola. The unit was built in 2008 and everything is 1st class and new. You have a unobstructed view of the mountain and out across the Basin. You are within walking distance to several fine restaurants and spas. A free shuttle located just below the unit at the Sundial Lodge will take you to Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley, Main Street Park City, shopping, Groceries etc. There are five other ski resorts less than 45 minutes away. Salt Lake international Airport is less than 40 minutes away.

The Canyons is the largest ski resort in Utah and there is no better location to ski it from than Vintage on the Strand. The Condo is two floors with no one above you. It is an end unit so you have huge views in all directions. You have a two car heated garage should you elect to bring a car.

The unit has three Master bedrooms with king beds and one bunk room that has 4 twin beds. Each bedroom has its own private bath. There is a roll away queen bed in the loft. All bedrooms, the living room and the loft have Televisions. There is wireless internet everywhere in the unit. You have a private washer and dryer in the unit. All bathroom and kitchen counters are granite. There is a phone in the unit and calls in the US are free. Check out ski in ski out video link above profile photo.

About The Owner

When we saw this property we couldn't believe it. Usually the best land closest to the ski run was developed long ago. In this case it was developed late in the game and we happened to be in the right place at the right time. We are thrilled to offer this prime condo for others to enjoy as well.

We bought this condo because it was simply the best location on the mountain and large enough to house two families comfortably. When you see it you will understand.

What makes this condo unique

If you and your family love to ski like we do there is nothing that compares with true ski in ski out. Want to get a different hat, a warmer jacket, want to get rid of one layer, want to stop by the bathroom, want to swap your board out for your skies. You can do all of these things and many more without missing a run. At the end of the day no trudging to the car and changing in the parking lot, just hang your skis and boots on the rack and flop down in one of our leather chairs and share stories about the day.

Excellent accommodations at The Canyons

Had several emails back and forth with questions and owners were very prompt. They came to meet us on the first day which also made our stay a bit more personal. Had a small problem with a drain backup and they came with plungers for every bathroom. Various paper products, some staples and spices were left in the pantry which we found very helpful. Be aware of many steps within the unit if you aren't acclimated to the altitude!

Definitely ski in and out

We just got back from a great trip at the canyons! Wished there was more snow but we still had a great time. The place was beautiful, comfortable for two families with young children (4 kids under 6 years) and in a very convenient location. We didn't even rent a car because taxis were so close at the sundial lodge. We've been visiting park city for 10 years now and have stayed in deer valley, park city and the canyons and would definitely come back to this property. This was our friends first time in the park city area and they loved it. I think we all agreed that the only thing it was missing was a hot tub! The owners were also kind enough to allow us to fedex our ski bags ahead of time. Definitely would recommend this property!

We are just back from our annual ski trip with a group and were so lucky to have found this place. From the minute we contacted the owners they were attentive and helpful. They made everything clear and easy as well as provided some great input into dining and entertainment options.
Our group has done this trip for more than 10 years and when you consider the accommodations and location it’s the best we have found. They tout the ski in/out which is really as easy as explained, but what we loved most was the unit itself. It’s truly first class and quite a large layout. There is plenty of room for a group of friends or multiple families.
The Canyons is our favorite mountain on this side of the range. They have expanded/upgraded in recent years and we spent more time right here both on the mountain and in the village itself this year than ever before as there are now multiple options for après ski and dinning.
If you are considering this unit rest assured you will not be disappointed. We will be back for sure.

Fantastic Girls Weekend

We just came home from this gorgeous spot. 8 of us forty something women all do a ski trip once a year together. This was a perfect location! All the rooms are gorgeous and large and very clean. We really appreciated 4 bathrooms and loved the true ski in ski out access. The Vintage is right at the base-the closest location to the slopes. The owners were easy to work with and it was a very seamless experience working with them. We didn't have a car and had groceries delivered. We also went into Park City with the free shuttle leaving from the Sundial lodge (right next door) 2 nights. A cab cost $15-20 one way. Very easy to get around. The Canyons resort was beautiful, and the people and staff all very helpful and friendly. Skiing was great and plenty of variety for our group who ski at different levels. We'd love to return.

Great Location - Disappointing Cleanliness

Two families totaling 9 people rented this unit on Christmas week. The unit is well located and a great layout for a large group. The photos on the site accurately depict the unit and its furnishings. Unfortunately, the unit was not properly cleaned at check-in and there were several unaddressed maintenance issues prior to our arrival. The unit also lacked spare towels and bed linens as well as the garage door openers. The owners have been made aware of these issues and seem interested in taking corrective action. That said, you should get a commitment/understanding ahead of time from them to avoid the issues we had during our stay and understand their commitment to your hospitality.

Owner's Response: We have taken the above comments to heart and have made several improvements to make sure that all of our guests have the best experience possible. The cleaning noted was done on Christmas Eve and regrettably failed to meet our high standards. We have improved our cleaning and inspection procedures to prevent items from being overlooked in the future. The maintenance items (two burned out light bulbs) have been replaced. Spare towels and bed linens have always been in the unit. We moved them to a place where it will be easier for guests to find them. There is a garage door opener as well as a keypad to open the garage. We are disappointed that none of this feedback was mentioned to us while the guests were in the unit even though we spoke to them on several occasions. These issues could have and would have been corrected immediately had we been notified. We live in Park City, and are committed to doing everything possible to make sure that all guests have a fantastic vacation.

Awesome Condo, Great Location

Our group of seven adults stayed at the condo in December 2011. The condo was beautifuly appointed with top of the line funinshings and decor. There was plenty of space as we never felt crowded. The kitchen was awesome with Wolf range and Sub-Zero built in refridgerator. The condo was well stocked with dishes, spices as well as shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom. There was never a time we wished the unit had something. The location is awesome, definitely ski in and out. Even without much snow, the condo had easy access to the ski slope. The owners were awesome to deal with and we definitely plan on returning to the unit. Without a doubt, a first class property!
