Green Valley is essentially a 55+ playground with golf courses and recreation centers. Leave the frustration of winter far behind you and come to our funland. We are permanent full-time residents here so we can give you directions to local attractions and activities.
Cortina Villa is an age-restricted community which means that at least one member of your party must be 55 years of age. Numerous recreation centers are available throughout Green Valley for a small additional charge. Most of these centers have large outdoor pools and hot tubs and indoor workout rooms.
What to do in Green Valley: You will be within a 5 minute walk to the nearest one (if you are a slow walker!) A new center has recently opened in this end of town and it has a large indoor swimming pool, exercise room, Jacuzzi, free weights, etc. Other activities available (at the other centers) include tennis, racquetball, shuffleboard, and many organized ''club'' events. The facitlites also have a computer club, camera, club, clay studio, silver shop, and may other hobbie related facitities.
There are seven championship golf courses available within a short drive. All are in great shape and reasonably priced. Our townhome is located within a mile of two courses. Some of the courses have a clubhouse so you can go right from the greens to lunch or dinner.

The patio doors open to a cozy outdoor area that overlooks a natural wash area . The living room also has a handy desk to hold your laptop and papers. Each of the bedrooms is furnished with a king size bed and matching furniture. Each of the bedrooms has a 32' HDTV! Each bedroom has its own private 4 piece bath making this an ideal unit for two couples wanting to share accommodations.
The unit has wireless internet and a seperate desk area for those who just must take care of busniness while on vacation!

Attractions near Green Valley: Green Valley is about a 45 minute easy drive from the Tucson International Airport and is close to city shopping and attractions. There you will find the most incredible Desert Museum with mative plants and animals as well as the Air and Space Museum.
South of Green Valley you will find Tubac, the artist colony where you will find galleries and interesting little shops. Collosal Caves is also a great place to spend the afternoon.
We are about 45 minutes to the Mexico border (although travel across the border is not reccomended at this time)
