Keywords: Renew yourself in the splendor of 'Hale Ho’ole Hou' which means 'house to restore life'. We have been coming to Kaua'i for more than 20 years and have always referred to this beautiful, peaceful island as 'the Healing Place'. Our home is a peaceful, modern, private, 4 bedroom home on Kauai's North Shore, with incredible mountain views and a great view of Hanalei Bay from the upper level lanai. It backs up to a protected valley, and with the mountains beyond, offers a wonderful feeling of seclusion. The home features a modern, well-stocked gourmet kitchen, hardwood bamboo floors throughout, a private master suite with jetted tub, a wrap-around lanai with gas grill, and easy access to the best the North Shore has to offer. A short drive away is the sleepy surf town of Hanalei with one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Kaua'i is truly a magical place.

About Richard Campbell
We are empty-nesters and enjoy sharing our Kaua'i home with our 3 kids, their spouses, and our 3 grandkids. Richard is retired and loves to golf. Donna works as a consultant for a large international firm. We enjoy relaxing on the beach, are learning to paddle board in Hanalei Bay, love to hike, and most of all, relax in the sun and warm Kaua'i breezes.

Why Richard Campbell chose Princeville
We have been visiting the North Shore of Kaua'i since celebrating our 10th anniversary here more than 20 years ago. We have always dreamed of having a place of our own on this beautiful island and recently, that dream came true. To us, Kaua'i has always been a place of renewal and healing.
What makes this house unique
We love the panoramic views, the birdsongs, and hearing the rain at night. We love to go to the beaches on the North Shore and then stop in Hanalei for drinks and pupus before we head on home for a fresh Hawaiian dinner on the lanai. The fresh fish market in Hanalei is a must stop each day to pick up the night's grill. We love to go to Hanalei Bay around 6 PM and walk along the beach, joining the locals who have a ritual of meeting to watch the sunset together. It is a joyous event when we get a glimpse of the green flash just as the sun makes its final dip into the ocean. There is really not a more beautiful place on earth! Most of all, we enjoy the perfect Kaua'i temperature. Our home is a place to kick back, relax, and soak in the warm trade wind breezes and let the healing begin!
Guestbook comments from the manager
Some of the highlights of our trip were the Kalalau trail, Waimea Canyon (particularly Waipo'o Falls), Polihale Beach, and the Princeville treasures of Queen's Bath, Hideaways Beach, Sealodge, and Anini Beach. We also loved coming home to this gorgeous house. Oh, and it was great being close to Hanalei, particularly the Dolphin restaurant and fish market. And we all would love to come back to this house again some day, especially if you are still managing the place!
