Bali Hai is far and away the most incredible place I have ever stayed, including hotels, and I have traveled a great deal. The pictures on this site, though beautiful, do not do it justice--it has to be seen with your own eyes to be believed! I went with a few close friends for my husband's birthday party (stayed four days total), and we intended to spend our days at the beach, and our nights on the town. Instead, we did not leave the house once, except to go to the grocery store, until the final night! We just could not bear to draw ourselves away from the beautiful pool/hot tub, the incredibly comfortable beds, the plush sofas, and the stunningly gorgeous yard. Every morning we made breakfast in the chefs kitchen (our group loves cooking, so we were in heaven), dinner on the grill, and ate every meal on the upstairs deck, which is just incredible. Do I even need to mention that the interior is decorated impeccably and the bathrooms are stocked with all of the fancy, full size toiletries you could want? This house is great for both kids (let them stay up giggling all night in the cabana, haha) and adults. The staff is very professional, courteous, and unobtrusive. It was nice to have someone help with things like chlorinating the pool and taking out the trash, and they were gone by 9:30 or 10:00 the two mornings they came. I literally can't express what a wonderful time we had. If you are on the fence about this place, don't be, just book it. I am already planning a trip back!
