Amazing Aspen Home for Family + Friends

What a phenomenal home! I went out for 5 day weekend with 8 friends and we had an amazing time. On Thursday night we cooked in the fully stocked kitchen, full of the proper equipment and more cookbooks than you can imagine. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor hot tub while listening to music through the housewide sound system. On Friday we walked 3 blocks to the shuttle to Snowmass and skied all day long. Friday evening we had a Private Chef to the home who made a comment that it was one of the nicest homes in Aspen to cook and entertain in. Saturday we walked down the road about 1 mile to Ajax mountain and skied all day long before going out to dinner nearby the home at a delicious 5 star restaurant. If you want a great place to relax and entertain, beautiful decor, a wonderful location, and a warm welcome from the property manager then this is the home to rent. You will not be dissapointed.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Xgames weekend.
Comfort:
The beds were very comfortable and I felt right at home with how accommodating the owner was "You're welcome to eat/use anything in the house." Plenty of additional linens/towels & pillows. Tons of space and fun (pool table, hot tub, grill, games).
Location:
Perfect for catching the free shuttle to the Xgames and around town.
Amenities:
There was a huge fridge in the kitchen and another smaller one in the living room & the basement. Plus a big ice machine.
All appliances worked great & the house was wired with speakers throughout the house which was nice to play music. However we couldn't get the system in the basement to work or out on the deck and there was no iPod connector, so we had to just play the radio.

Complaints:
The property manager said that someone would be coming by to fix the TV in the basement. This never happened & was a little frustrating when we were hanging out in the basement & couldn't watch the Xgames

The left side of the sink clogged really fast just after washing dishes in it and we weren't able to use it the rest of the weekend

Other than that really had a great time!

First of all, the location was excellent. We were a party of 4 adults and a baby and walked everywhere, shopping, dinner...and the longest was a 15 minute walk. The home itself was very well appointed and had everything we needed, plus a little extra. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of skiing. They even made sure to have a baby bed and high chair for our 9 month old when we arrived. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay there again ourselves!
