You'll love this colorful, artful home in a quiet family neighborhood. Large windows, high ceilings, and an open floor plan provide an airy, comfortable home for 6 adults or a family with kids. Original art and one-of-a-kind furnishings are throughout.
The property sports front and back covered porches, a large 2 car garage, gas fireplace, fully stocked laundry room and a large kitchen with all the gadgets as well as spices and other pantry and condiment items.
Each of the three bedrooms is decorated in it's own style: 'The Field Office' provides a queen bed, 'The Kid's Room' has a colorful twin day bed (no head and food boards in case your teenagers need to hang their feet off) with a trundle, and the 'San Francisco Master' is a huge suite with a king bed, sitting area, shower and 2-person spa tub. Free WiFi, cable, printer, TVs in the living room, kid's room, and master, as well as desks in each bedroom provide areas for work or alone time if necessary.
Large Open Colorful Living Area: The living room has plenty of seating, a gas fireplace, large hearth for warming up after skiing or snowmobiling, and is open to the dining area and kitchen so you all can enjoy each other's company no matter what you're doing. You'll love the innovative modern style with colorful original art and one-of-a-kind decorator pieces.
The kitchen is large and fully stocked with any gadget you may need as well as with spices, coffee beans, and other pantry items. Grocery stores and restaurants are close but at least you won't need to go running out the first thing in the morning for coffee. Good china, silverware, and table linens are provided, in addition to everyday dishes, for those special occasion dinners. Plenty of counter space and a bar ensures you'll have company (and help) while you cook.
The covered front porch provides a comfortable place for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. The back covered deck is great for charcoal grilling even while it's raining. The backyard is fully fenced so pets and kids can play safely.
Just Like Home: All those things you take for granted at home, you'll find here: a fully stocked 'junk drawer', over-the-counter medications, first-aid supplies, tool shop in case you need to make adjustments to your sporting equipment, a fully stocked laundry room, and collections of books throughout the house: fly fishing, Montana history and activities, art, novels, as well as illustrated books.
This house comes with all the incidentals: laundry supplies, tools, paper plates and plastic ware, foil, plastic wrap, zip-lock bags, paper towel, paper, pens, stationery, cooking oil, spices, baking supplies, old towels and rags, freshly laundered extra blankets, even backpacks and walking sticks.
All the quilts on the beds are covered with duvets that are freshly laundered between guests.
Large flat screen TV, wireless internet, printer.
Close to Everything: This home is a great place to bike to anywhere in town. Bike lanes and trails are only a couple blocks away and you can be in downtown Bozeman or shopping on 19th Street in only a few minutes. The large 2-car garage means you can dump your gear, park your car and have plenty of room to keep the bikes ready to go.
Dave and I are both 1980 chemical engineer graduates of MSU. We've been in the San Francisco area for the last 33 years but are gradually spending more time in Bozeman where our son is studying Bio-engineering at MSU. We've been coming back to Montana every year since we graduated so our boys feel at home here.
Paula Pedersen purchased this house in 2011
We knew that The Rose Art House was just right when we first stepped through the front door into the wide-open, light, living area. The large master bedroom, bath, and walk-in closet and overall layout of the house made this an ideal house for a vacation rental.
We stayed in the Rose Art house for two summers. Exceptional is the only way to describe the house & the hostess . The house is immaculate, well organized, beautifully & tastefully decorated, has everything you need in the way of kitchen, cooking, and entertaining (even china for special occasions). It is in a great neighborhood, close to walking trails, 5 minutes from town, it's master suite & bath felt like a Spa, and the hostess made it her job to respond to and meet your every need. We have stayed in many VRBO'S & this house is in a class of it's own.
We have been traveling across the country for the past 15 years & have never stayed in such a beautifully decorated, super clean & well organized home. We have stayed in town in the past, but really enjoy the quiet neighborhood. We travel with our dog & she loves to take a nap on the lawn in the fenced backyard. We plan to book again next year.
We arrived at Rose Art House very late at night, after three flights from our home in England, very tired. We walked in to a well lit, warm, cosy and welcoming home and fell into very comfortable beds. The next day we explored the house thoroughly and found everything we could possibly need for a week away. Rose Art House is lovely. The attention to detail with added luxuries is a credit to Paula. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The house folder contained all the information we needed for the house and the area, including some fantastic places to eat. It was so lovely after a days skiing to go back to a cosy, comfortable home. We loved it ! At the end of our holiday, when our travel plans went awry, Paula was incredibly kind and accommodating. We visit Bozeman every year and Rose Art House is by far the best house we have stayed in. We will be back !
What a wonderful place to stay in Bozeman! The home was ready on time and was in perfect condition. It was more than we expected. Fully furnished, clean as a whistle, equipped with every amenity you can imagine. We made the most of the very well supplied kitchen. The beds were perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained and we got great sleep every night. The owner provided a notebook that covered every possible contingency with the home, and also provided a great little guide to dining and entertainment in Bozeman.
Working with the owner was a piece of cake...everything was as promised and on time...no surprises. We'd give this six stars if we could! Thanks, Paula Pedersen, for your exceptional efforts and service. This was our first experience with Homeaway.com. After this, we will surely do it again..
We stayed at Rose Art House for ten days over the holidays while visiting our son and his family in Bozeman. Between my wife and I and other family members, we had four adults and three young ones staying at the house. There was plenty of room for all of us as well as occasional visiting guests.
The entire experience with Rose Art house was terrific. Paula provided great communications on all necessary details and the house is supplied with everything one would need for an extended stay in Bozeman. It was clear that Paula has put a lot of thought into making one's stay at Rose Art very comfortable.
We have stayed at numerous VRBO rentals around the country, and truthfully our stay at The Rose Art House is the best rental so far. This definitely does not "feel" like a rental. it truly has the feeling of home!
We are thoroughly enjoying the neighborhood and central downtown, hiking trails and our Bozeman family. The Art Rose House fits our needs. If you are into hiking, biking or just sightseeing or relaxing I'd highly recommend this vacation home. The owners, Paula and her husband are wonderful and accomindating .
We even purchased a tree cutting permit and cut a Christmas tree for my son and his family in the Bridger Mt.
