BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN DELRAY COSMOPOLITAN 3/3 HTD POOL - OPEN MARCH 6-17

My husband, mother in law and three children stayed in this house for a week. It was very spacious for us and had a very well stocked kitchen. Things we thought we would need to buy were already in the kitchen. the pool had wide steps and a heater. the house had towels for our use and a washer/dryer right off the kitchen. They had a computer connected to the internet and a great in house entertainment system. We were allowed to select different genre's of music to play throughout the house and on the back patio by the pool controlled by 1 remote. They had some pool toys for the kids but wouldn't hurt to have a few extra at the house - the noodles and kickboard was great to have.

The location of the house was nice. It was so private and walking distance to lake Ida, definitely great for a nice run/walk but a bit far from downtown. Plan to drive there (this was not an issue for us) We hardly saw or heard any neighbors the whole time we were there so perfect for us.

I'd have to say there was a living room in the house which was a wasted room. We never went in there and it had a nice view of the pool so kind of unfortunate. Would have been better to have that be the family room so we can look out at the lighted pool at night while watching TV or made into an extra bedroom. The family rooms TV, dvd, cable was kind of complicated but we figured it out. The TV is a bit small for the huge wall it sits on.

The furnishings are a bit off. It seems like the couch would belong in a house up north not at the beach as it was kind of hot to sit on but it was very comfortable. The master bedrooms only had queen size beds even though there was nothing else in the room. Seemed a bit silly as I do not like going on vacation and having a smaller bed than at home. Would be good to have a pull out couch or a fouton as extra sleeping arrangements because the house is really big enough but there was only bedding for 6 people. The property manager was gracious enough to lend us her air mattress and it worked great but why not have this be part of the house? IT would be nice if they had more stuff for use with children, games, puzzles, etc. We went out and bought a booster seat for the house and left it there so hopefully another family could use it in the future.

We'd definitely consider coming back to this house.

First of all let me say that I NEVER give 5 stars. I would have gladly given my highest score-4.5 stars-but the system didn't seem to be able to accomodate this.

I stayed at this house for 3 weeks, with my family-4 others-joining me for 10 days. We enjoyed the stay very much. It was on a very quiet cul de sac in a nice residential neighborhood. The house had everything one needs. There were 3 full baths, and everything fed into the beautiful pool area. The house was very well maintained and very clean when I arrived. I was met by a wonderful woman named Joyce who truly made you feel at home. When I needed more lawn chairs she brought them over personally within the day. There was one small mechanical problem that cropped up and Joyce again had that taken care of the same day. Everything was pretty close to perfect. While I would not consider it "downtown" Delray" it is only a 5-6 minute drive. It is very conveniently located close to the beach, town and shopping. I would definitely stay there again. My thanks to Steve and especially Joyce, for making us feel so welcome.
