Late availability due to cancellation! This modern, spacious, high quality 82 m2 ground floor apartment has two bedrooms and will comfortably sleep 6 people (sofa bed for 2 people). It is tastefully furnished with a a spacious dining/living room, fitted kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower over and another separate WC. The apartment is equipped with a TV, CD, and DVD player. Security is provided by metal shutters on all windows and there is secure underground parking. The view from the terrace looks out to the well kept grounds and 10m communal pool.

Around the area: The area offers a wide variety of interesting sights and activities. Stretching north from Valencia city, the Costa del Azahar, the orange blossom coast, backed by a mountainous hinterland has a coastal plain which is a green sea of orange groves, from whose headily scented flowers, the region takes it’s name.

To the north of Vinaros is the Deltebre, the delta of the river Ebro, where there is fishing and a bird sanctuary where you can see many species of wild birds including wild flamingos. Also about 1 hour north is Porta Ventura theme park (Universal Studios Spain) for a great family day out. Castellon is the second most mountainous province in Spain and if you take a short trip inland you will be rewarded with spectacular mountain scenery, tranquillity, wildlife and fantastic walks. Also inland you can visit Morella, an outstanding example of a medieval fortress, perched on a hill top, crowned with a castle and enclosed by a wall over 2km long, it’s one of Spain’s oldest continually inhabited towns.

To the south you will find Peniscola, with it’s 14th century castle and a 5km long beach. Further south Benicassim, each summer, hosts the Benicassim International Music Festival (Fiberfib), you can take the train from Vinaros to Benicassim during the festival.

If you prefer to stay around Vinaros, along the coastal road from Cobysol to Vinaros town you will find many calas, small coves with pebble beaches with steps down and showers, great for relaxing in the sun with safe swimming, or the main sandy beach with children’s play areas on the towns sea front. As well as having many great places to eat out, Vinaros also has a vibrant night life, especially at the weekend, there are several nightclubs and dozens of late night bars open until the early hours with taxi’s available back to Cobysol.

VIVA VINAROS!

I spent 3 glorious weeks in Vinaros last year and had a fantastic time. The town is a beautiful old spanish town which has avoided the commercialisation of other destinaitons in Spain. There are several good quality restaurants in the town, offering food to cater for every pallet. There is a great night time atmosphere along the beach front, where its nice to relax and have cerveza or a glass of sangria!
The apartment in we stayed in at the Cobysol complex was absolutely fantastic. It was literally home from home with absolutely you could wish for. It is very tastefully decorated, with the owners paying great attention to the little things that make you feel welcome from the first time you walk in! Lazy afternoons spent by the pool followed by even lazier evenings sat out on the spacious balcony! There are some very nice bars and restaurants located within walking distance of the apartment, all which are highly recommended.
The town is serviced by a very good bus service, which conveniently stops outside the El Garoffer pub...very handy!
I had the most perfect holiday and I cannot wait to get back out to Vinaros in the summer of 2010. Adios...

The apartment is 4-5 km north of Vinaros in Zona Triador, just 300m from the coast. There is a bus route along the coastal road into town on a regular basis. There are several bars, restaurants, shops all within a short walking distance. Vinaros itself is a growing town, originally a fishing village. Tourism has yet to put its mark on the area. It still has all the features of a genuine Spanish town with its market place, bullfighting arena, winding streets and alleys. A variety of good shops and cafés are available in the town centre. Vinaros is renowned for its seafood, which is the speciality of many of the town's restaurants or fresh seafood can be bought directly from the fishermen landing their daily catch down at the port. As well as seafood restaurants you can also enjoy pizzarias, Mexican, Chinese or local tapas. During the summer you can enjoy walking down the paseo alongside the towns beautiful sandy beach, watching the sunset, or simply just sitting back, relaxing.
