Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Loft + Den, 3 Full Baths (Sleeps 8-10), Rustic Wedding Barn

Winding Creek Farm and Wedding Barns a rustic Log Cabin with all the comforts of home in a setting that's peaceful with plenty of space to roam. Located in the foothills of North Carolina. Winding Creek is on 40 acres centered in the Heart of the Yadkin Valley Wine Country of North Carolina. The property has 2 creeks, a 6-stall Pole Barn converted for Weddings, Walls from the early 1900s ready to be explored by you and your family. Great for a weekend get away, family reunion, Wedding or other special event. This spacious home has an open floor plan with spectacular views. The large stone fireplace can be seen from 1st and 2nd floor levels. Extensive decks are perfect for sitting back and enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. Quietly read a book in the Amish built porch swing. The furnished kitchen is great for preparing a light or gourmet meal. Master Bath features double shower and antique claw foot soaking tub. Sleeps 8-10 adults comfortably and has 3 full baths.

All linens are provided along with TVs, Netflix, and a game room on the basement level.The cabin is located within 20 minutes of 15 vineyards and 5 minutes of Shiloh Amish General Store. Shiloh is known for their meats, cheeses, breads and other wonderful treats. Minutes from Historic Downtown Elkin, North Wilkesboro, Yadkinville, Mt. Airy, Winston-Salem and Statesville. Winding Creek is located minutes from fly-fishing, swimming, rock climbing, hiking and nature trails all located in Stone Mountain State Park in Wilkes County, North Carolina. All rentals come with 2 complementary wine tasting from one of our local vineyards (Must be 21 year of age) Private winery tours with reservations are based on availability. Minimum 2 persons $50 per person, this price excludes wine tasting fees. Tours last no more than 5 hours from departure.

Wedding Barn Venue 6 stall pole barn and 3,000 foot equipment area has been converted for Weddings, Receptions, Dinners and Special Events. Grapevine, White Lights, Mason Jar Ligts and Chandeliers, Vintage and Antique Farm Decorations Complete the Barn Area. This place was amazing! When I found it on here I loved it! But when I actually visited the place I fell even more in love with it! The place was better than I even imagined! My husband and I found Winding Creek Farm and Wedding Barn to be absolutely beautiful.
On October 27, 2012 we were married on the grounds.The atmosphere created by the barn, cabin, and tasteful decorations, provided by Winding Creek, enabled our wedding to be a very intimate and sweet occasion. Along with the aesthetics of the venue - the cabin was lovely and perfect for relaxing and unwinding in peace and quiet. We love Winding Creek Farm and hope to visit again some day. We highly reccommend staying at this tranquil get-away.

Great Winery Weekend

The cabin is perfectly located to visit lots of our favorite Yadkin Valley wineries. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. Thanks for sharing the beautiful countryside with us. We had a wonderful time!

After seeing it in person and talking to Mike and Karen we knew we had found the place. You will not find 2 nicer people to deal with. They offer so much help and great communication. The neighbors Leroy and Dale also offer tons of help. If you are looking for a get-a-way or a romantic retreat this is the place. It offers lots of privacy and lots of outdoor space. Anything that you need from your home, Mike and Karen have it. I'm telling ya, don't book your wedding until you've seen this place! I would recommend it to anyone!!

We booked the cabin and barn for my daughters wedding on August 4 2012. I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. Owners were so helpful at the wedding (I was sick the whole weekend) and they helped us take picutres, clean up and even decorate. They are awesome to work with! Everything was neat and clean when we arrived and perfect. What an awesome weekend despite being sick for a week before hand. We couldnt have asked for more perfect accomodations. We had our rehearsal dinner on the stone patio and back deck. The girls from the wedding party stayed all night at the cabin after the rehearsal dinner so we wouldnt have to travel. We got up the morning of the wedding early and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Kitchen is stocked, we could have eaten at the cabin but chose not to, we were "on strike".
We had someone come to the cabin to do our hair and makeup. We had the wedding in the barn and the reception on the opposite side of the barn where the fresh new concrete is. Everything is beautifully landscaped and Karen has made everything accesible for you. There are lots of things there you can use to decorate with and use to serve with for your rehearsal dinner. Awesome just doesn't describe it.
Mike has made mason jar lights for the barn which are absolutlely grogeous at night and wine bottle lights in the hay loft, even a wine bottle tree that I tried my best to figure out how to take home with me! LOL There are also grape vine wreaths wrapped around the posts in the barn which have clear lights on them that were awesome as it got dark too!
Mike and Karen are very helpful and great to deal with and the property is immaculate and wonderful. If you are looking for a private "country" setting for your wedding you found it here. I would highly reccommend you check out this property if you are looking into having a wedding of 100 or less people inside (My daughter wanted to get maried IN the barn!!! :) and it would serve alot bigger crowd as an outdoor wedding venue site. Scenery is beautiful there!
