6 Bedrooms, 6.5 Bathrooms, sleeps up to 16 people

This beautiful 6 bedroom 6.5 bathroom Ski in–Ski out log home is both cozy and comfortable. It’s located in Mountain Village and a short 60 yard walk on a private road to the Sundance ski run. The home is just 125 yards from the Gondola and the grocery store in Mountain Village.

The residence has sweeping dramatic views of the San Sophia range. The 5,030 square feet is tastefully decorated in a casual mountain style and has every comfort including a large private 10 person hot tub, large living area, two game rooms, spacious bed rooms, and decks off five of the six bed rooms. This is a spacious retreat and is very well located. Fabulous hiking trails and mountain biking trails are just outside your door.

MAIN FLOOR:

The heated two car garage opens to the mudroom and foyer with a log staircase. The large master bedroom suite is also on the main floor. The masterbath has a steam shower and large jetted Jacuzi spa tub.

UPSTAIRS:

The upstairs has a large open living space, stone fireplace, and dining room with antler chandelier. The views are stunning with large 30 foot windows. The kitchen is very well appointed including everything you might need. The second master bedroom is also located on the upper level. The bedroom is very large with double doors into the suite and a queen size bed. There is also a loft with a card table and powder room.

DOWNSTAIRS 1: The next level downstairs has bedroom #3 with a queen bed and it’s own bathroom. Bedroom #4 has two twin beds that can be made into a king bed and it’s own bathroom. This level also includes a comfortable den and separate washing machine/dryer area.

DOWNSTAIRS WALK OUT:

The lowest level includes a large entertainment area with a large flat screen television and a walk out to a large 10 person hot tub. The views are fabulous from the hot tub as well as bedroom #6. There’s a bunk room (bedroom #5) with four twin beds, a full bathroom. There's a separate bedroom (bedroom #6) with a queen bed and two more twin bunks with as well as another bathroom.

Your full time private concierge and host will attend to your needs while staying at this home at no charge. Need restaurant reservations and recommendations? Ski instruction? In home massage? Best rivers for fly fishing? We will gladly assist with all of your needs. This is a non-smoking home and no pets are allowed. Daily and midweek cleaning, private chef and catering services are available at the renter’s request.

TRANSPORTATION: There is no need to drive anywhere because there is a free car service for anyone staying in Mountain Village (Dial-a-Ride). Just call and the car will arrive at your doorstep to take you to the ski lifts or restaurants in Mountain Village. Want to go to Telluride? No problem. The free gondola will take you on a 19 minute ride to the beautiful town of Telluride. The gondola and Dial-a-Ride operate from 7 a.m. until midnight daily.

TELLURIDE & MOUNTAIN VILLAGE: Mountain Village is an alpine community and home to the Telluride ski resort. It's a 13 minute gondola ride from Mountain Village to Telluride. Telluride is known for its world class skiing, however summer is fast becoming the favorite time of year to visit. The dramatic views, music festivals, sunshine and outdoor fun such as hiking, biking, golfing, fly fishing,white water rafting and rock climbing keeps everyone coming back in the summer. This home is the ultimate mountain experience! Fantastic location in Mountain Village, the best views of the Telluride area one can see, very comfortable and roomy for a large group, and pristine in condition! There is nothing left to want; be it young children who want to watch cartoons on their own tv, young adults who want privacy with fast wi-fi to surf the net, or active adults who want to sip wine in the hot tub.
Our family did not want to leave and will for sure be back!

Love this Mountain Village home!

This is our 3rd year staying at this beautiful home. We have four families (16 people, kids ranging from 8-15) and it is perfect for a large group. The kids have their own bunk room, living area and two bathrooms downstairs. There is another comfortable living room upstairs off the kitchen and each adult couple has their own bedroom with private bath. There is also a small upstairs loft with a game table. The kitchen is well stocked and we found all the comforts of home, plus extras like games and sleds. The steam showers are a favorite after a long day of skiing. On the couple of occasions we had to call for a maintenance issue, it was taken care of immediately.

The location is great. You can walk to the market gondola or call Telluride's free dial-a-ride. There are fun places to eat in Mountain Village but it's also a treat to ride the gondola into Telluride Town for dinner at Honga's or Cosmopolitan.

Telluride can't be beat for family skiing - there is truly something for everyone. The short walk to the "ski in/ski out" can seem much longer in ski boots but the house makes the trek worthwhile.

This is a beautiful home with all the conveniences. The slopes are just a short walk from the front door, we came home for lunch daily!

Great views, plenty of room, the steam showers are a must!

Amazing Views - Very Comfortable Property

Loved the property! We stayed for 5 nights and were very pleased. This property sits at higher elevations than most in Mountain Village and you can see forever. The beds/linens were extremely comfortable and the property was spacious. Very close to the slopes, gondola and local market.

disappointing

The house sleeps 16, but the dining room only seats 8. The living room area is even smaller. We were twelve people and the common areas could not accomodate us. Ski in ski out is debatable. We had to walk downhill a long block and then climb up two flights of stairs in ski boots, holding skis to get to the mountain. Ski in was even worse. Going down the two flights of stairs in ski boots and walking uphill a long block to the house was exhausting and difficult after a day of skiing. It was particularly hard for the children.
