York is conveniently located, just one hour north of Boston and one hour south of Portland, Maine. York is a great place to be on vacation with four beautiful beaches: Short Sands, Long Sands, York Harbor Beach and Cape Neddick Beach! York offers a fun life style with such a vast choice of exciting activities, such as scenic walking trails along the water, 3 golf courses, great fishing and boating from the York Harbor Marina or the town dock, surfing at Long Sands Beach, kayaking on the York River, mountain biking on trails at Mount Agamenticus, and skin diving off the rocks at Nubble Lighthouse. There is fabulous live theater all summer at the Ogunquit Play House, fun shopping in York Beach, and lots of magnificent destination restaurants. York is a wonderful and vibrant community. The LITTLE SEA STAR CASTLE WOW factor is certainly its fabulous roof top deck and its regal Nubble Point location with its king size ocean views and cool refreshing summer breezes!

The listing description was accurate regarding location, layout and amenities. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very responsive to questions and provided prompt and friendly answers. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. We especially liked the proximity to the ocean, the spectacular views of the ocean from the deck, and the decor of the cottage.
The owner has just put in a brand new washer/dryer set that is top of the line.
We have been coming up to York Beach for 15 years and this was by far the nicest house we have stayed in.

My favourite vacation ever!

I could not recommend this little beach get-away enough! We were 4 adults and a baby and found Sarah and Gary's home to be wonderfully equipped and thoughtfully set up to receive us. Sarah even had a Pack and Play for the baby, in addition to beach chairs, towels and a fully equipped kitchen!
Our favorite part was how well located this home is, its just minutes to the York beaches and overlooks a beautiful rocky coastline. We also loved how friendly the neighbors were (unrelated, but always a bonus!) and how the rooftop deck offered the best view of the coast and light house.
Sarah also put together a helpful list of places to visit nearby and with very easy instructions around the house. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a restful yet fun-filled holiday trip!
