This beautifull lakefront home which was updated 5 years ago and is located at the much desired southern end of Lake Wallenpaupack. The home offers a large deck with double sliding glass doors that open the living room up for indoor-outdoor entertaining with a spectacular view of the lake. For summer months, our own boat dock on the lake. In the rear of the home is an outdoor fireplace for hotdogs and s'mores. With a level walk of 200 feet to the lake and hiking trails right in the neighborhood, there's no reason to go anywhere but here! Relax with friends or alone while enjoying fishing, hiking, mountain biking, taking long walks, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or ice skating. Weekends book quickly this time of year so don't delay - make your reservation today. This is a non-smoking residence.

Fall Festivals: Once the foliage is at peak, fall festivals abound. Pumpkins, street festivals, and all the colors of the seasons. Into November, local businesses prepare for 'Black Friday' shopping events. The Crossings Premium Outlets is only 40 minutes away - shop till you drop, and then return to the lake and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or a glass of wine while you revel in your bargains.

Winter Fun on the Lake: Lake Wallenpaupack is a year-round recreation place. On the lake itself, you can snowmobile, cross-country ski, go ice fishing or ice skating. Several ski resorts are nearby, like Sno Mountain (formerly Montage Mountain) and Ski Big Beat at Masthope Mountain. It's rumored that Tanglewood may reopen this winter. Camelback ski resort offers snow tubing - make a day of it and hit The Crossings Premium Outlets, both approximately 40 minutes from the house.

Lake Wallenpaupack, located in northeastern Pennsylvania in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, was created in 1926 by the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company as a hydroelectric project. The lake is 13 miles long and about 60 feet deep at its deepest point, making it the third largest man-made lake in the state. Lake Wallenpaupack offers year-round recreational opportunities, along with a number of other activities and attractions in the surrounding area.
