Enjoy a beach holiday, swimming, walking, fishing, shelling, watching the sunset at our privately owned, completely renovated and well appointed condo. Or,bring your boat, and dock on the canal in
your back yard! Rest and relaxation enjoy the private and quiet location of this corner unit on the ground level. The condo has an open floor plan and is tastefully decorated in bright, light Florida beach colors. The screened lanai is surrounded by tropical vegetation.
This is a home away from home- and more! Some highlights of the accommodation are: a well equipped kitchen; a 42 '' flat screen HD TV/DVD in the living room with a satellite connection that also connects to the TVs in the bedrooms; air conditioning and fans throughout; washer/dryer in the unit. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and best quality king sized bed. The second bedroom has comfortable twin beds. The screened lanai (netted patio living area) opens to the garden and leads to the dock area. This area has a fish cleaning station, BBQ, picnic table, lounges and a 'coffee table book ' view of palm trees and the canal. The magnificent white sandy beach is just a moment's walk past the swimming pool and through the dunes !
The condominium complex consists of 64 units in 8 low level buildings. Guests have full access to the large swimming pool, a welcoming clubhouse, with 24 hour internet connections ( as well as the Wi-Fi in the unit) and helpful and friendly on site management.
The driveways and walkways have been renewed with brick pavers - cool and eco-friendly! The complex is on the beach which is world famous for collecting shells. the condo is conveniently located on the east-end of the Island just a few blocks from the causeway. there is easy access to shopping, restaurants, health spas, a recreation center (with exercise room & classes, tennis ...there are daily, weekly and monthly memberships available), golf courses, and the historic Sanibel Lighthouse.
Bikes can be rented on site to ride the network of over 25 miles of paved paths which are adjacent to quiet roads. Paths also go through the wildlife preserves to provide an opportunity to explore the wildlife and vegetation. Sanibel Island is world known for its fabulous shelling and dedication to wildlife preservation. It is a Florida vacation destination with a perfect all year round climate and Unit A1 is truly a small paradise on this paradise island!

Our family had a terrific stay at this wonderful condo. It was super clean and had everything we needed. We felt right at home there. It was close to both the beautiful beach and really nice pool. There was a grill right behind our building that we used a bunch of times to make hot dogs and burgers. The place was stocked up with beach chairs and umbrellas that we used each day. They also had buckets and shovels for shell collecting. The beds were very comfortable and the master shower was amazing. It was large and modern and it had great water pressure! Jane, the owner of the condo, was very personable and took the time to respond to any questions that I had. She was a joy to do business with. I would highly recommend renting this condo!

This condo is lovely. Clean, neat and very quiet. Canal behind the unit is inviting and it is fun to watch the "resident" manatee come out in public quite often. The unit has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable
We enjoyed our stay and your condo was very comfortable. We visit Sanibel as a family and rent four unites every three years and have stayed at Sanibel Arms the last several times. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE EVENT while using your group meeting room and YOUR MANAGEMENTS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TREATEMENT WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO SANIBLE ARMS. Clean and very convenient to beach, pool and island venues!
We have been staying on Sanibel since 2003 and have now stayed in this condo twice. We love Sanibel Arms and the amenities. This end of the island is peaceful and the beach is beautiful. The property is clean but the bedding, especially pillows, needs to be replaced. We would definitely stay here again! Our favorite restaurant is Timbers and the Sanibel Grill next door. Great margaritas!
A1 is a lovely ground floor, clean, well maintained condo with all amenities including all the beach equipment you need, corner unit with a wonderful lanai to enjoy, great complex with quiet pool (noodles included), clubhouse with a couple of computers and printer to print out boarding passes, not a beach front or view condo but a only a short walk to the beach! We loved A1! It was our first stay there and hope to be back! Our favorite restaurants....Lazy Flamingo, Island Cow, RC Otters (Captiva), Jacaranda (happy hour appetizers), East End Deli (rice and beans). Our favorite activity....shelling, playing in the waves, looking for sand dollars and starfish during low tide. May is a great month to visit Sanibel....not too hot and not crowded!

Good customer service is available and I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to spend quality time on Sanibel Island.
This is in a quiet residential ares, part of a complex with 64 units. It is on the east end of the island. The complex's beach front provides wonderful swimming and fishing but is best known for the shelling. A mile walk down the beach leads to the historic light houses and fishing pier. Bicycles are available for rent on the property to use on the 25 miles of bike paths. There is a very good local taxi service which we use to pick us up at the airport as well as occasional shopping on and off the island. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance of the condo. There is a door from our lanai which opens to the canal where you can moor your boat (with no charge) and/or fish, barbeque or sit and watch the sunset! The complex also has a great swimming pool and clubhouse. The nature preserves and animal refuges are our favourite places to discover. Also, close by are fitness centres, spas, tennis courts, golf clubs, boat rentals/tours. Paradise itself!
