Make this your home away from home! We are located central to many of New Hampshire's favorite attractions. Great place as a quiet get away or to take along the whole family. Only 7 miles from Bretton Woods and 10 miles from Cannon Mountain and Route 93. There is DIRECT SNOWMOBILE ACCESS from the house to the snowmobile trails.

You'll find you have plenty of room with an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. For more privacy there is bedroom, bathroom and small loft on the second floor. We have all the amenities of home inlcuding a washer and dryer and ping pong table in the basement. There is a crib, high chair and pack & play available on the premisis. There is a covered porch to sit back, relax and breath in the fresh mountain air. Wi-fi is also available. We are located on a private road with little traffic. It is the perfect place to enjoy the quiet.

Fosters General Store offers discount ski tickets to Bretton Woods to our renters. Outback Kayak will drop off snowmobiles for overnight use or kayaks depending on the season. We're working to make your stay as stress free as possible.

You are minutes away from great skiing at either Bretton Woods or Cannon Mountain. Attitash and Loon Mountain are each about 35 minutes away. Leave your trailers in the yard and snowmobile from the house to access Corridor 11. Excellent fly fishing in nearby streams and rivers. Echo and Profile lake with a beach located nearby for swimming and canoeing. Plenty to do with the Mt. Washington Cog Railway, Mt. Washington Auto Road, The Flume Gorge, Cannon Tramway, Cannon Ski Museum, Santa's Village and Six Gun City all within a reasonable ride. Of course there is always antiquing, dining, outlet shopping, live theatre (summer), golfing or just taking a scenic drive. On the quieter side you can try the town gazebo for live music or you can always sit on the porch with your favorite beverage and enjoy the mountain air.

  • Weekly rate of $1250 or $250/night with 2 night minimum. Memorial day weekend is 3 night minimum.
    Holiday weekly rate of $1750
    9% NH rental tax applies. $125 cleaning fee.
    At time of booking, the $200 security deposit is due.
    Half the balance is due 60 days in advance of your stay with the remainder due 14 days in advance of your stay.
  • We understand that sometimes in planning vacations issues may come up and you have to cancel. Cancellations occurring 60 days before reservations will have no penalty. Cancellations or a shortened stay may incur a penalty but we will work with you. If we can rent out your dates or partially rent them out you will be refunded accordingly.

Notes: We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our home and think that you'll be very pleased with the amenities. We've been active at trying to slowly add on to provide activities for your family while at the house also. Ping pong table is always a hit with the kids, and we are building an outdoor wooden playhouse. Small collection of books to either take a book or leave a book.

Perfect accommodation for our group of friends!

Our group of eight lady friends absolutely loved this cabin! So quiet, clean, great beds for a good night sleep, and the porch for sitting and talking was the best!!
Location is very easy to get to yet just off the main road far enough to have all the peace & quiet you love when you go away. We did much cooking while at the cabin and enjoyed the kitchen set-up for doing so. Our group did the Canopy Tour at Bretton Woods only 6 miles away and enjoyed some area hiking as well.
We are planning a winter showshoe get-away and hope to rent this much loved cabin!
Our group of gals thank-you for sharing..........it was all we had hoped for & more!!

Memorable....

Our family had a wonderful memorable experience! The cabin was super clean and had all the amenities for our Thanksgiving dinner. We stayed 4 evenings and didn't eat out once. We visited many towns and our favorite was North Conway. The town itself was quaint with great shopping. We also went on the Polar Express train ride to the North Pole and my children were able to enjoy this exciting event with Santa and its Elves. A must see event with young children. The best part of the trip was the sightseeing of all the mountain views. Skiing was everywhere and we look forward to coming back in the mid-winter. I highly recommend this beautiful log home!

Clean and private!

The log home was actually more beautiful than described. Everything in the home seemed brand new and top quality, especially the TV clarity! The home was immaculate, plenty of linens, utensils...everything you would need to live there. Pick-up and delivery of the key was quick. I would recommend this home to everyone. My family and I hope to return here next summer.

Great Log Cabin in Twin Mountain

We had a great time in Twin Mountain. The cabin gave us all of the necessities that both families needed during our stay. We have a 17 month child and the cabin had a crib and a pack & play for us, which worked out very well. We cooked in a few of nights and had everything that we needed. The location of the house is very accessable to the main road, but far enough to be quiet.
The location of the cabin was key to our decision of the trip. We were close to Mount Washington (Bretton Woods) and not far to Santa's Village. We had lunch at one of the restaurants at Mount Washington Resort and then golfed right after (grreat time and meal). We did go to North Conway and found that it was very crowded and everyone agreed that we made the right decision to stay at the log home in Twin Mountain. Definately have to venture to Munro's for breakfast (right down the road) and venture to the quaint town of Littleton and Polly's Pancakes for breakfast (10 minutes from Littleton). Overall a great location and the Log cabin provided us with everything that we needed for 4 adults and 2 children.

I highly recommend this cabin if you want the most out of your experience in this area. The cabin was very clean in a very quiet, private area. The pictures you see are exactly what you get. It really is beautiful. The owners are some of the most professional people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They are very quick to answer any questions you have and really go the extra mile to make you feel like you're dealing with a close friend instead of a stranger. There is a store very close to the property called Foster's Crossroads that has everything you could need. The owners are also a pleasure to deal with and will help you with any questions you have about the area. I am the type that likes to try different places, but when I stay in this part of New Hampshire again I will be trying to get this very same cabin. My only regret in writing such a positive review is that it might be harder to book next time!
