Fabulous Mountain Getaway!

What a beautiful place! We only wished we could have stayed longer--perhaps all summer! We liked it so much that we stayed again on our return trip from Denali. IThe cottage was just completed last October, and the owners have put so much thought and love into creating a lovely hideaway in the mountains. The wall of windows in the living/dining area affords fantastic views of the surrounding forest and Matanuska Mtns in the distance. The cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly maintained; the kitchen is very modern with the latest appliances, and the ceramic tile in the bath/shower is beautiful. The Rose Ridge property is located about 7 miles from Palmer on several secluded wooded acres, which affords much peace and quiet for a very relaxing stay. But we also had high speed internet and satellite reception on the wide screen tv, all the comforts of home--if not more so! Our hostess was very helpful and accommodating to us weary travelers who were desperate for a good night's rest! Thank you so much for rescuing us from the road!

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us at Rose Ridge! Our 10 acres is a great getaway, but close to many attractions & activities in Southcentral Alaska. We are working to make the landscaping around the new cottage as nice as the inside. We have strived to make it just as you describe.
