North Beach Up-Scale Designer Apt. with Spectacular Bay Views

We rented this apartment for one week in November 2012. We were not familiar with San Francisco (having never visited the city before) however we could not have selected a better location to celebrate a 50th Birthday! The location was within easy walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf and many great restaurants and tourist attractions.
The details Barbara incorporated in to the apartment and our stay (fresh flowers, chocolate and wine) made us feel not only welcome but right at home. The living room window provides a beautiful panoramic view of San Francisco Bay – Alcatraz, the boats, Coit Tower. We did not close the living room blinds once during our stay as the view was breathe taking and captivated our attention. The apartment was extremely clean, stylishly modern and very comfortable.
We highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to experience a relaxing and memorable stay in San Francisco. We plan to visit again in the future and will definately make 940 Union Street our home away from home.

Having lived in the Russian Hill area for 5 years and worked in the City 20+ years ago, I knew what and where I was looking for to rent for a 2 week vacation. The Apartment exceeded our expectations...yes all the reviews are accurate. This place is 5 STARS and I might even give it 6 STARS. Barbara was fantastic and easy to work with to set up the rental. We stayed 2 weeks and I could have stayed another 2 weeks! I liked to sit every night with a glass of wine and watch the ships roll into the bay from the living room view...very relaxing. You are close to everything from the wharf, cable car, marina, pier 39, presidio, union Street shops, North beach etc.
The other great thing is a small parking space is available to rent, which is nice to have when you have a rental car for day trips.

The apartment is quiet..it is tucked back from the street and you get no street noise. I highly recommend this apartment! ENJOY!

A beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood. Steps away from local transportation. Beautiful views from our living room window. Many personal touches that made this place really homey. The bed was very comfortable with upscale sheets - just like home! A quiet oasis from the busy city - yet near to just about anything you would want to do. Very close to Little Italy and Chinatown - just a short bus or trolley ride (or even walk) to everywhere else. Check out the Farmer's Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the Ferry Building - Great for stocking up the kitchen. Fabulous North Beach restaurants! We would love to come back again soon - we had a wonderful time in this beautiful place! Barbara and Erv were very helpful and accommodating. The view from the roof is spectacular - highly recommend this property! +++++

Note: If you wish to tour Alcatraz - purchase your tickets online from the Park Service website several WEEKS in advance of your visit - they sell out quickly. Check out GoCar as well - We had a blast buzzing around the city in our GPS-activated talking car tour - YOU will be the "tourist attraction!"
