I grew up in Southern California and have always loved being close to the water.

Having grown up in Southern California, when the opportunity came to purchase an additional property as a place for friends and family to stay when they were visiting, my wife and I jumped at the chance. Orange County provides the perfect balance between activities and relaxation. Laguna Beach is known for its artistic nature, and this location is within walking distance of art galleries, fantastic restaurants and the beautiful beach. Whether you prefer keeping busy or just laying out on the deck or the beach, this location is ideal for both.

Our stay at Laguna Beach Penthouse

My wife and I were quite impressed with the penthouse unit we had rented. Our first night went quite well. However, I became ill with a bronchial infection and my internist wanted me to return home to treat this condition. I was scheduled for heart surgery (pacemaker) the following week and had to get this bronchial condition under control. We were most disappointed to have to leave.

So, we were quite pleased with our accommodations and look forward to return someday and complete this vacation. Laguna Beach Penthouse will be our first choice for vacation rental.

We enjoyed he penthouse with the ocean view deck.
Our bedroom had a flat screen tv, but more amazing it had a two way mirror.
We could see the ocean from the bed, the view is amazing.

We saw dolphins and many stand up paddle boarders during that weekend.

Great weather and easy parking in a fun city with endless activities.

My family & I stayed a week in July at the Retreat in Laguna. Not only was the accomodation outstanding (immaculate & beautiful), the view magnificent but the hospitality & service were also superb!! It is centrally located and walking distance to shops & restaurants. We never wanted to leave even though we were only an hour from home. We can't wait to go back!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
