ENJOY OUR ACROPOLIS OASIS! Our garden apartment is an oasis hidden within the towering buildings of Athens and isolated from its big city sounds. Enjoy the cool comfort of our private court yard. Pick fresh lemons in season. Live Athens then rest and relax in our one bedroom, off-street, air conditioned hideaway. Our Acropolis Oasis is located within the Historical Park Area of Athens known as the 'Acropoli;' within two and a half city blocks of the Dionysus Theatre entrance to the Acropolis and slightly less than two city blocks from the Acropolis Metro (Subway) Station and the New Acropolis Museum. Nearly all of Athens’ major attractions are but a short walk away; you will have little need to take a taxi or to rent a car and rarely will even need to use the subway.

Notes: We can provide sleeping for groups of up to five people; 2 in the bedroom (queen sized bed), 2 on a sofa bed that uses two real single mattresses – read comfortable (either together for a couple or separated if need be), and 1 person on portable fold-away bed. Our clothes washing machine is located in the dressing room. Although the apartment does not have a wheel chair ramp, it is fairly accessible by handicapped people having only a flight of 6 steps for its access. Smoking is permitted in the Garden but not inside the apartment.

ALL ROUTES LEAD TO OUR ACROPOLIS OASIS! : Our Acropolis Oasis is ideally located to take advantage of Athens' World Class Mass Transit System. The Athens Airport, Larissis Railway Station, and the ferry terminals of Piraeus are all easily accessible using Athens' modern subway system. The azure Aegean beaches of Athens' Apollo Coast and the forested, sandy, shores of Schinias are readily available by tram or bus. The Athens Sightseeing Public Bus (line number 400) has two stops conveniently located nearby. The Acropolis Subway Station is only a couple minutes walk away providing fast and easy access to the rest of Athens and its suburbs. You will have no need to worry about fighting traffic or flagging down taxis during your stay at our Acropolis Oasis.

FRESH AND NEW INSIDE: Our garden apartment is like new - completely renovated and refurnished in Jan 2008. It has a Great Room containing kitchen, living and dining areas; one Bedroom; a Dressing Room, and a Bath Room. We have newly installed oak flooring throughout except for the bathroom which has new ceramic floor and wall tiles. All the kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures are brand new as is all the furniture. The unit is located on the ground level in the rear of the building away from Athens' famous street noise. Its private garden with high walls for privacy and security is a virtual oasis providing visual pleasures for both the Great Room and the Bed Room. It is air conditioned for your summer comfort, has central heat to ward off the winter's chill, and can provide sleeping for up to five people.

PRIVATE DAY EXCURSIONS: We offer a modern air conditioned mini-van with a courteous driver who speaks excellent English should you want to travel outside Athens. Take a day excursion to Delphi, Mycenae, Ancient Corinth, Epidavros, Mountain villages, the Island of Evia and more. Our excursions are private, for your group alone. Our prices are reasonable and our driver is very safe and dependable. Contact us for details.
