The Personal Touch:
We want to welcome you to 'Les Plantous' on the doorstep of Domme, and our pretty apartment set in our enclosed garden with pool and further down the garden our chicken run, fancy fresh eggs for breakfast? We will meet you on arrival and settle you in and answer any questions you may have over a glass of wine.
Before your arrival a grocery list will be sent to you and if you require any provisions we will only be too pleased to get these for you.

The Area:
Cenac is set beside the river Dordogne and and offers some great walking routes and stunning scenery, we keep an information book in the apartment and any festivals/Markets or Fairs going on we will let you know.
Domme is lovely Bastide town full of history and some fantastic restaurants, and stunning views , it's only a 5 minute drive or you can walk the route up from Cenac.
If you fancy a day out on a canoe, Cenac offers this too, you can canoe along the river taking in the countryside and chateaux, and then relax by the riverside with picnic.
Sarlat the medieval living Museum is a must, it has a fantastic market on Wednesday and Saturday, and its cobbled streets are alive with Restaurants, little shops, and street musicians, art galleries and the beautiful cathederal of St Sacredos.
Beynac and la Roque Gageac : medieval villages set in to the sides of rocks over looking the river offering beautiful views.
The Perigord Noir is a photographer's dream, so don't forget yours
Ballooning/ Horse riding/ Out & About:
If you fancy a balloon ride and fantastic views of the area, this is an experience to be had ! We can organise a flight for you when you arrive weather permitting ! If you enjoy horse riding?, there is a stables near us so you can take a stroll on horse back round the vicinity of Cenac St Julien. Plenty to do in the area for the Kids, - 'Le Bournat' -stepping back 100 years, to a time of old fairground rides and games, traditional trades/workshops a working windmill !! an Aquarium, mini Golf, Water parks, Adventure parks, ..........to name but a few !!
