We are a couple that loves old and authentic buildings . That is the reason we finally bought this one Rue Saint Roch .
We like traveling in France and abroad to meet new people and learn about different ways of life.
And you can see Olivier and me with our Jack Russel Cleo !
Anne Bailly purchased this apartment in 2004
This property is the type of building we like with full of interesting parts of the 17th century which is a very great period of our french history .
The building could have met Henri IV or Louis XIV so even in the walls of every flat we could almost feel the atmosphere of that time. And our building is located in the very heart of Paris surrounded by many historical monuments and places...
This apartment is perfectly situated to visit Paris in the very city center .
It is walking distance to the Louvre museum, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower , the Tuileries Garden and so many interesting areas of Paris.

Thank you Anne for allowing us to rent your apartment during our short visit to Paris! Alexandria, it was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for your help with getting settled in when we arrived. This apartment is perfect for anyone new to the city because it is very close to all the major attractions, restaurants, shopping, groceries, and transportation. It felt as though we had been there in the past. The apartment was very warm and welcoming, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped - everything and more! This apartment and its location are reason enough to re-visit Paris and we would not ever consider staying anywhere else. We will contact you again Anne (hopefully soon).
Rented this small, charming, very clean apartment for 2 weeks as a woman travelling alone. Anne and her husband, Olivier, work hard to make this a comfortable home-away-from home. This apartment is in a super location, only 2 blocks from the Louvre and a Monoprix (Similar to a Target in the U.S. with a grocery in the basement) right across the street. Anne is very accommodating and helpful and willing to answer any and all questions. The amenities are numerous, and include everything you would want, even a can opener and placemats. I did not need to buy anything for the apartment, except a box of tissues. It is very well stocked in terms of plates, cooking utensils, flatware, pots and pans. The coffee pot is a "French press” which makes great coffee. I found that that I couldn't beat the value of this apartment as the location is perfect. Its atmosphere very charming, although I am a history buff and loved its historic aspect. I hope to stay here again when I return to Paris someday. Would highly recommend.
This was a very cute apartment located in a very convenient spot in the city. The Louvre and shops were extremely close. Ample amount of space for two people. There is a separate laundry room for each apartment which was nice. Because we don't speak French we couldn't really figure out how to work the washer/dryer properly, but it was still a nice feature. Our unit did have a very slow draining shower which once we knew about, we got used to it. Also, I believe our unit was missing a space heater as it was a bit of a colder September than expected. Regardless of those little items, this was still an excellent stay. The price/location/size/amentities of the unit were enough for me to still rank it at excellent.
Right in the heart of Paris, where culture and history are at your fingertips.
• Big museums like the Louvre, Orsay, l'Orangerie.
• The Opéra and the Comédie Française.
• Luxurious fashion shops in rue Saint Honoré and Place Vendôme.
•Palais Royal, Jardin des Tuileries, Seine quays and even St Germain des Prés are only 15 minutes away on foot across the lovely Seine bridge ‘Passerelle des Arts’.
The métro (underground) is beneath the Pyramides station building, but Louvre and Tuileries stations are only a step farther away, about 328 ft.
There are two ‘Velib’ bicycle hire stations nearby.
This exciting, vibrant district has lots of restaurants from the simplest to the most famous, like 'Grand Véfour'.
There are lots of luxury shops, corner shops and gourmet shops nearby including a Monoprix supermarket, open until late, just 165 feet away.
