Our Luxury beach side upper floor apartment is ideally suited for families and couples alike who enjoy unadulterated luxury beach side holidays at reasonable rates.

You can swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean directly in front of the apartment (perfect for an early morning swim before breakfast!) Or you can swim in the Mar Menor to the rear, which due to it’s shallow warm waters make this an ideal environment for young children who want to swim or learn to swim in the sea , alternatively there is the private pool area which are all conveniently located right on the doorstep of the apartment.

There are Water sports of all kinds, Jet Skiing, Sailing, Fishing and Diving within easy reach.

For the golfing enthusiasts, there are numerous Championship Golf courses within a short drive, OR, you can just sit back on the balcony, relax and watch the world go by (Glass of wine in hand!) whist taking in the most beautiful uninterrupted views out to sea. The choice is yours!

Furnished to a high standard together with air conditioning and underfloor heating make this an ideal all year round escape.

The huge Balcony overlooking the Pool, Beach and Sea, make this the most perfect place for Al Fresco dining, whilst taking in the magnificent views out towards the Isle of Grosa .(Meal times will never be the same again!)

From the Lounge, main bedroom and kitchen, we overlook miles of uninterrupted stunningly beautiful white sandy beaches, out across the calming waters of the Mediterranean taking in the Isle of Grosa and the yachting channel to and from the Marina.

From the 2 large double bedrooms we also have the additional bonus of each having their own small balconies looking out over the Mar Menor towards mainland Spain.

For your entertainment, the apartment is also equipped with a 40 inch Sony LCD TV, enabling Satellite UK TV and Radio channels, together with Spanish channels, plus a DVD player.

For those requiring internet facilities, unlimited WiFi is now available on request.

The apartment and apartment block also benefit from being wheelchair friendly, due to the ease of access to the apartments, which are serviced by lifts to all floors.

As would be expected with high end apartments, the communal parts inside and out are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis by a full time caretaker employed by the owners of the apartments, therefore maintaining a much higher standard all round.

For those hiring cars or coming by car, there are plenty of off road car parking spaces around the complex.

A frequent bus service operates up and down the strip connecting you to such historic places as Cartagena and Murcia together with other great places of interest along the way. A stop is conveniently located at the front of the apartments.

A ferry crossing also operates from the Marina on a regular basis connecting you to Santiago del la Ribera with its vibrant weekly street markets steeped in traditional Spanish culture.

A street market also operates on the Marina, Saturday mornings, whereby it is ideal for all your superb quality fruit and veg needs.

Fantastic location! - Great holiday!

This was our second trip to Spain but the first to La Manga, and from the moment we arrived at Playa Principe we all fell in love with this place!

Best location on the whole La Manga Strip. Walking distance to the Thomas Maestre Marina, restaurants, shops, cafes (Internet Cafe), banks.

The view from the balcony and every window in the apartment is fantastic- white sandy beach and blue sea. Sitting on the balcony at night was so relaxing, sipping a glass of good Spanish wine, listening to the sound of waves and watching the lights along the coast.!! Wow!!!

Highlights of our holiday were trips to historic city of Cartagena and ferry trips across Mar Menor to Santiago de Ribera to the weekly street Market. The ferry leaves from the marina every 2 hours and costs 4 euros/person. The bus to Cartagena has its first stop on the Strip and cost around 3 euros.

The building and the apartment are beautiful - spotlessly clean and only three apartments on the floor !!! Remember to wipe your feet when coming back from the beach!!!!

The housekeepers - wonderful couple! Very helpful and attentive, going out of their way to please!!!

The owners deserve the biggest applause - John always returned my emails in a timely manner and even set up a Paypal account for fast and secure payments.

Thank You John and Gill for a wonderful memories!!!

It was worth it to fly across Atlantic Ocean (7 hrs) to spend two weeks in your 5 star Luxury apartment in La Manga.!!!!

Brilliant Apartment

Just returned from a week winter stay - weather very good.

The apartment is just as described - Luxury fixings & fittings and all In good unmarked clean condition.

The views were brilliant and had breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the beach and sea.

Located just a short stroll from the marina, plenty of restaurants but not many open at this time of year - most preparing for the coming season.

Booking process through the owner John was excellent and his housekeepers Tony & Hayley very responsive.

First class winter break in total tranquillity.

Very comfortable, clean apartment with stunning views from the 7 th floor windows and balcony. Everything in the description is true and more.

Although we were staying Jan/Feb the weather was sunny and we had plenty of opportunity to relax on the balcony. Very quiet and peaceful at this time of year but the few restaurants that are open seemed to be of the highest standard and we enjoyed several excellent meals in the immediate locality. No problem securing a window table overlooking the Mar Menor!!

From the day of our enquiry to the receipt of our returned deposit at the end of our stay we received friendly. efficient and prompt service from John and would happily recommend this property. We will be back ..........

Superb apartment in a stunning location

My wife and I spent 2 weeks here as part of an extended holiday travelling by car and this was our first visit to the La Manga area. The apartment is absolutely superb, extremely spacious, fully equipped and with wonderful views of the Med from the large main balcony. Without doubt it is located in the best and narrowest position on the whole strip. The whole complex and pool is clean and well maintained by onsite staff. Tony and Hayley were onhand promptly for arrival and departure and for local advice or help.

The beach is pristine and most days we went for a long walk along the shoreline before our evening visit to the marina area about 15 mins walk. We liked to watch the sunset with a drink at Captain Moodie's bar before dining at one of the many restaurants. We tried most of them including traditional, pizza, asian, mexican etc and all offered good value. For a simple shared salad, pizza and bottle of wine we paid 20 euros total and fantastic fresh fish main courses could be had for under 15 euros.

If you fancy catering at the apartment the nearby SuperCor is fully stocked and very reasonable along with a decent bottle of wine for 3 euros. Trips out included the ferry from the marina to Santiago de Ribera (4 euros each way) with the longest ever street market, a visit to superb Cartagena, a walk up to the lighthouse at Cabo de Palos, a visit to Los Alcazares with its long promenade and a walk up to the historical site of the Cartagena Portman guns. Our 2 sons and their girlfriends joined us for a long weekend and just loved to laze on the beach.

Overall a fantastic holiday, thanks very much John and Gill.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location

I have just spend a week with my wife and three children in John and Gill`s apartment in La Manga.The Apartment is located on the La Manga strip right in front of the beach.The view from the large balcony is absolutely stunning with the most amazing sunrises every morning.The apartment itself has everything you would need for a selfcatering vacation.There was plenty of space for the five of us.It was superb to be able to go right out on the beach from the apartment.The beach is beautiful and has crystal clear water.The La Manga strip is a very nice and quiet area.Within an hours drive inland,you are in reach of different mountains with charming spanish villages.The nearby city of Cartagena is also a fantastic place.

Regarding booking and renting of the apartment,John and Gill did an amazing job.Everything went very quick and easy.The housekeepers on the spot were likewise amazing,they showed you around the apartment on arrival and you could always call in case you had any questions.So everything just went very smoothe and easy.

We had the most wondelful vacation in John and Gill`s apartment and would recomend it to everyone who needs a vacation in a beautiful location and in an amazing apartment with plenty of things to do.

A fantastic apartment in a beautiful spot

From start to finish this holiday rental was superb. The listing was completely accurate - it really is as good as it pertains to be. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised by the pool which was larger than it appears in the details and was beautifully kept by the groundsmen. John provided excellent customer service and was a pleasure to deal with.

The harbour and sunsets just down the road at Mar Menor harbour were stunning, and there are some lovely restaurants to sit and watch the boats come in at the end of the day. We preferred the east side of the harbour but that is just personal taste. The children loved the soft sandy beach, calm and incredibly warm sea that is on the doorstep and the little funfair near the harbour.

I would highly recommend this apartment.

A truly magnificent place for families and couples alike, who enjoy unadulterated laid-back luxury beachside holidays .

The apartment is located within 5 minutes walking distance of the very Cosmopolitan Tomas Maestre Marina with its vast array of high class restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, banks etc.

If beach walking is your interest then you can walk for hours on the beautiful beaches from just outside of the apartment.

If sightseeing and shopping is your thing, the beautiful historic Port and Town of Cartagena and the bustling capital city of Murcia are well worth a visit.

Within a short drive is the world famous La Manga Golf Club Resort, where many of the World’s International football teams can often be seen using the 5 star sporting facilities.

If traditional Spain interests you, at the end of the strip there is Cablo de Palos a small fishing village, with its many excellent waterside fish restaurants.

Santiago de la Ribera is another must visit, which can be reached by a leisurely ferry service, operating from the Marina. Experience Spanish culture and cuisine at its very best.

Our holiday home is surrounded by white sandy beaches and clear waters of the Mediterranean and Mar Menor Seas, situated on the unique and beautiful La Manga Strip, reputed to have the best average all year round climate in Spain, boasting an average of 320 days of Sunshine per year!)

The region is blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate, temperatures range between 15 - 22C in winter. Summer temperatures vary between 30 - 40C. The average annual temperature is 18C.

La Manga Strip has a unique position in Europe, between two Seas, the Mediterranean Sea and the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor.

This part of Spain is famous for its salt lakes which has a major knock on effect on humidity levels, and as a result the air is much dryer than in other parts of Spain & Europe. The low humidity levels coupled with a mild climate, means the World Health Organisation have rated this part of Spain one of the healthiest climates in the world.

At certain times of the year, Flamingos can often be seen at both ends of the strip, feeding in the salt lakes.

The La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area.

We are located directly on the beach at the northern end of the La Manga Strip close to the Marina.

From here you can hire a boat, go scuba diving, fishing etc. There is also a ferry which sails to Santiago de la Ribera every 2 hours and a tour boat which sails into the Med and around the islands in the Mar Menor.

The Marina itself offers a wealth of international restaurants including French, Asian, Italian, Norwegian, Greek, Mexican as well as traditional Spanish restaurant.

The long promenades and boulevards make this an ideal location for the elderly or disabled as well as the most enthusiastic sports enthusiasts. In fact La Manga has something to offer everyone.

During the summer, the beaches offer a wide variety of water-sports, sailing, powerboat trips and scuba diving.

For golfing enthusiasts, we are approximately 20/25 minutes from the world famous La Manga Golf Club and many other renowned Golf Clubs in the area.

For beach lovers. Paradise found! The beaches in La Manga are just beautiful, the Mediterranean beaches and the Mar Menor beaches are perfect for family holidays.

Everything is within walking distance, plus there is also a good bus service operating up and down the strip.

There are also many traditional Street Markets used by the locals and tourists alike, whereby they are great for stocking up on really good quality fruit and veg at really low prices.
