Awesome Time!!

I rented this house for a group of friends coming in from all over the country. We had a great time and were happy with the house with no exceptions. There's several things about this place that stand out.
First, the location can't be beat. I have lived in Austin for 12 years so I know the good spots. This house is in a very true-Austin style neighborhood, and is within walking distance to two fantastic mini bar and shopping districts (east 6th and Rainey st), as well as the old 6th street bar district, so if you're wanting to go out you can safely walk or take a very cheap cab or pedi-cab ride, but it's far enough off the beaten path that it is quiet. There are also very good restaurants within a few blocks you can walk to.
Second, the pictures don't do the interior of the place justice. It is absolutely beautiful. The owner did a great job designing and decorating the house interior when he redid it. One of my friends is demanding to know what kind of bed hers was because she wants to go buy it. One of the bathrooms has a tub with jets and the other has a sauna in it, which the ladies loved. The whole place just makes you feel good being there. There were also three different outdoor porches to relax in, one of them screened in.
All in all, we would definitely try to rent this again anytime the opportunity arises.
