This beautiful condo is located in Puerto Angel, a quiet fishing and surfing community 40 minutes from Huatulco. Take in one of 11 amazing beaches or lay poolside as you watch dolphins and whales swim by. Puerto Angel has become a world-class surfing area, and also has beaches with waters that are more moderate, optimum for swimming and snorkeling.

Other distinct destinations include the National Mexican Turtle Center, and nude beach Playa del Amor. More than anything else, however, Puerto Angel is the ideal place to retreat to a simpler time and slower pace.

Fishing is excellent in the area, and fisherman regularly bring in tuna, red snapper and sailfish, as well as lobster and octopus. There are many quaint beachfront restaurants serving delicious, fresh seafood prepared just as you like it.

Beautiful Property

if you don't mind being off the beaten track this place is quiet, safe, with gorgeous views and the sound of waves crashing in on the rocks is a sound that never got old...friendly, helpful staff. you can take a cab to anywhere you need to go if you want to walk its a 10 min walk into town, which has most things you need. the units are all a little bit different being privately owned. they ave a more personal touch to them. there are lots of beaches around but you have to walk for a bit or take a cab. if you have time take a collectivo ( a small pick up that costs 5 pesos) you ride in the back or if there's room, in the cab, most locals use this form of transportation. they are a fun relaxing way to see some of the area and they have their routes that they stick to much like buses.

Great for the whole family

We visited the ViewPoint in early January 2013. The 2 bed condo was beautiful and clean. Erin's Youtube video of the road in was really helpful as we arrived at night. The staff and owners Cathy and Rob were welcoming and full of information. We travelled with our two teenaged girls and the visits to beaches and the Turtle Museum were highlights. The pool and the vistas were fantastic. Brent organized a movie over the Pacific Ocean one night which was so special. The kitchen was fully equipped at the condo but we ate out usually twice a day. Driving was "interesting" but not hard. We would love to visit again

A Relaxing Time

My Wife and myself have been traveling down to mexico for the last 15 years and have never seen old Mexico until coming to Puerto Angel. View Point is modern day clean bright and very comfortable with beautiful vistas of the ocean from 180 degrees from almost every condo.The staff made sure our stay was the best by stocking our fridge so we could have breakfast the next morning.
The beaches were spectactuar and the snorkeling was amazing the water so clear I would compare it to Cozemel and if you have snorkeled there you won't be disapointed with the beaches at and around Puerto Angel. we also did a boat tour with cliff jumping and snorkeling. We saw Whales,Sea turtles and dolphins Make sure you have a camera.
We also enjoyed Zipolite and Muzante just to remember to wear your flower power tee shirt when in Muzante it was a blast from the past. The restaurants were tolally amazing the pasta at Francesca's was to die for, yes he is a Italian in Mexico cooking authentic dishes right from Italay. The other place we dinned in Augustanillo was the La Providenca this was 5 star dinning agian totally amazing food. Lots to do everyday 2 weeks was too short to see everything and enjoy the constance 30 to 35 degree weather every day. We will be going back for sure.
