This property is located in a small development of seven holiday homes. It is only 5 minutes walk into the village where you will find restaurants, pubs, hotels, shops. The house overlooks the 9th hole of the new Skelligs Bay Golf Course to the side of the property and overlooks Ballinskelligs Bay to the front of the property. It is ideally situated on The Ring of Kerry for trips to Derrynane House and Gardens or a trip to the Skelligs to see how the monks lived in the 12th century.

Blue flag beaches, watersports, fishing, walking, historic sites and unspoilt scenery are on your doorstep. A fine selection of gourmet restaurants are located in the village.The new Skellig Bay Golf Course is literally on your doorstep ( you can view the 9th fairway from your bedroom window). There is also the world renowned Waterville Links Championship Golf Course for you to try.Tiger Woods , Mark O`Meara, Michael Douglas have all played here.

My wife and I rented this property in August, we have two small children (two year old and a two month old). The property was ideal for our needs as it was clean, safe and very child friendly.
On arrival we were offered a very warm welcome by the owner who also gave us invaluable local insight about where the best beaches, places to eat, play golf etc were.
The house was very clean and was very well equipped - all mod cons in the kitchen, satelite TV - two of the bedrooms had TVs and one had a DVD player. There was a high chair in the kitchen and a travel cot upstairs which was ideal for our needs.
Also provided was everything you could need for a day at the beach, and for outside there was a barbeque, deck chairs, bicycles and a nice garden area.
The view from the house was spectacular and you could see the sea from all but one of the bedrooms.
The local village was a 10 minute stroll from the house and had plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops to choose from.
I would highly recommend this property for anyone with a young family or for someone who is looking for a base for exploring the south west of Ireland.
I'm looking forward to returning next year!
