Thank you so much for the complimentary review. It was great meeting the family. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again.
This is our last stay in this lovely apartment.
Linda was a wonderful host. She greeted us and spent time giving us information about restaurants and directions to the subway, etc. She always made herself available by text and answered any questions promptly!
This apartment was very well situated. It was close to numerous amenities that were local or a short train ride away. Getting to Manhattan was a short subway ride. We also were able to explore different parts of Brooklyn and Long Island. The subway/train systems were relatively easy to navigate and we could always find our way "home".
The neighbourhood was terrific. We never felt unsafe and the people were always helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend the restaurant called Peaches. Great food, lively atmosphere, and they made us feel very welcome.
If our travels bring us back to New York, we will definitely consider returning to Linda's apartment! It was a great stay!!
Had a wonderful time. Linda went above and beyond to help with directions. The rental was very nice and very clean. Much better than a hotel room. Lots of character . If you want true NY experience this is the place. Will be back:)
We, a family with 2 teenage boys, had a wonderful time in Linda's beautiful apartment! The apartment was quiet and clean, it is very tastefully decorated and was well equipped with whatever we needed. We even found some coffee for the first day... The apartment is larger than anticipated from the pictures - fitted us perfectly well. Linda is a great host! She is a very warm person with a great sense of humour. It is a pleasure to talk to her. She is always reachable and helpful when you need her but otherwise you have your complete freedom in the apartment.
The location is very convenient to go to Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn with the A/C subway from Utica Ave station (but at nights better not confuse it with the other Utica Ave station on the 3/4 train).
We would definitely recommend this apartment to people who want to visit New York but prefer to stay outside the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
Thank you Linda for the great stay!
This is a lovely brownstone apartment. Excellent condition with a perfect host. Close to nice restaurants and metro, all within a short walking distance of the apartment. Quiet and clean. Enjoyed our stay and plan to return whenever we visit New York.
Beautiful apartment, just like the pics! Owner was sweet, accomodated early arrival. Found parking on the street and felt very safe. This is a second floor apartment in a traditional NYC brownstone. I'm sure we'll be back!
Our family of four adults had a very nice stay in this comfortable apartment. It had everything we needed for our visit and was quiet and well-maintained. It was close to the subway. Linda, the owner, and her son affably worked with our travel schedule. She was always available but never intrusive. She had plenty of good information for us to help make our vacation more enjoyable. We would happily recommend this apartment to others and stay there again ourselves. Thanks, Linda!
