Upon first entering the house you will say what I and everyone else has said, ''oh my gosh what a view.'' Split level home located on the main channel of Lake Hamilton. Spectacular lake view from the living room, master bedroom and 100' lake frontage. The house has a covered dock for boating, swimming and fishing. Relax on the lower level deck overlooking the lake and grill your favorite foods or enjoy a quiet evening watching the breathtaking sunsets from the upper level balcony which is easily accessible from the living room with no steps involved.

Enjoy the lake view from the king size bed in the Master Bedroom on the main level. Second bedroom on the main level boasts antique EastLake furniture originally brought out west on a wagon train.

Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the main level of the home. Kitchen, dining room, living room and full bathroom are located on main level.

The lower level can be a separate living area for watching TV and enjoying the lake view or a third bedroom with a queen size sofa bed and bunk beds for the kids and a full bathroom with separate powder room.

Quiet and secluded, centrally located close to shopping, dining and entertainment. Be sure to visit Bath House Row located in historic downtown Hot Springs National Park and Oaklawn Park racetrack and gaming center.

Centrally located on Lake Hamilton minutes to shopping, restaurants, Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat and Oaklawn Racetrack and Gaming Center. Five miles to historic downtown and bath house row.

Other Activities: Miniature golf, Health/Beauty Spa, roller skating rink and boat rentals all within 5 mile radius. Diamond and crystal digging an hour's drive away.

Golf: Hot Springs Country Club is located about 15 minutes from the property or take a 30-minute drive to either Belvedere or Lake Degray.

Just About Perfect-Great Value

We were here for the Big Oaklawn Rebel Stakes weekend. three (3) adult couples, plenty of room and a great view and location. This property would be ideal for summer lake vacations for groups of up to 8-10. Charming lake house surrounded by much more expensive homes, but if you like hardwood and the feel of a true lake house, this is perfect. Very clean and well maintained, and close to the action. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years in Hot Springs hotels, and this property is a very good value when compared to hotels, not to mention having the comforts of home. Owners were great, they will help you or leave you alone--whatever you need. I'm reluctant to recommend this house--simply because I plan on renting this property many weekends next racing season and I want to have availability. Can't go wrong here.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great location and wonderful view

Rented for a weekend at Oaklawn. The location was wonderful. House is very clean and the view is excellent. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Furnishings a little spartan but very functional and the showers had good water pressure ( a pet peeve of mine). I would recommend this property.

We just got home from the most incredible vacation!! This may not be the prettiest place (from the outside) on the lake but we LOVED it!! It was clean, very nice inside and had everything that we needed. The kids had their own area downstairs, kitchen was perfect, and the view from the picture window we called the best HD TV ever made was magnificent!! The lake was great, restaurants wonderful and the people were so nice. The owners went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and the king size bed is a tempurpedic!! The most comfortable sleep I have had in years!! :)
Only suggestions.... some attention to the padding on the dock would be nice and the outside stairs were not safe for the kids. We just had them go inside to go upstairs so not a big deal. Some more comfortable chairs outside would be nice. But just suggestions, nothing that would keep us from coming back!! Thank you so much... see you next year!

be sure your skiff is long enough to dock safely,watch the stairs, no lighting from house to boat dock be very careful,dont pull on any ropes,ad is decieving as to property location

Owner's Response: Yes, the dock is small as is visible from the photos and the property is on the main channel so there is considerable boat traffic, especially on holiday weekends, which this was. And yes, this is a two-story house so there are stairs, also visible from the photos and addressed in the property description. As to the location, we can't imagine what these people were complaining about. The view is gorgeous as attested to by previous tenants and the house is located in a convenient 7 South area so we don't understand the comment about our location being deceptive. We encourage all prospective tenants to please read all of the information we have published about our property to determine if ours is the right property for you. Thanks, Sharon & Craig

This property more than fulfilled our expectations. Great view of the lake. The house was spacious for the 7 of us. It was very clean as well. It was more than we could have asked for. We highly recommend staying at this property.
