On 7 Wheel Ranch we offer you the old American way of living in a 5 star luxury custom made log home, with outdoor pool, located in the beautiful surroundings of Gainesville in the Lakes & Prairie region of Texas, just one hour's drive from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. Gainesville is situated on the 82 just off Highway 35, which runs from Dallas/Fort Worth to Oklahoma City.

Set in 40 acres of well established grazing and woodland with a beautiful pond, this tranquil haven is set back off the main roads. Yet only 10 minutes from Gainesville for restaurants, shopping etc.

For those of you who are enthusiasts of reining horses and big ranches, the likes of Casey Hinton, Todd Summer and Pete & Tamara Kyle are located no more than 15 minutes drive from our front door, which you can visit.

Log Cabin: 7 Wheel Ranch offers you a traditional 2 bedroom custom-made log home finished inside to a 5 star standard. We have paid particular attention to those small details which will make sure your stay with us more memorable. You can be assured of luxury and complete privacy.

Ground Floor: From the swing on the beautiful entry porch, the font door leads you into our open plan full height living area with its open fireplace. Furnished with the ranch style look. Access to the down stairs master bedroom en-suite is directly off the living area. A fully equipped kitchen and utility room will allow you to feel at home. You can access the back porch and enjoy a very quiet spot, surrounded by our mature woodland, maybe watching some of our wildlife passing by (turtles and cats) and enjoy our outdoor fireplace.

Moving upstairs…

First Floor: Upstairs you will find a very unique bedroom, which will allow you to sleep in adult sized split bunk (cabin) beds with an en suite.

Our Thanksgiving at 7Wheel Ranch

We had a marvelous time and the owner could not have been more attentive to our needs and wants.
The home was beautifully furnished and very comfortable to stay in for 4 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc which was very important since we cooked our Thanksgiving meal.
The view of the horses from inside was quite enjoyable as was the fire pit for star gazing.
Our 2 small dogs were warmly greeted by the resident farm dog Lucky and his traveling ambassador friend Cowboy. They kept us well entertained and were never a bother.
The pool looked inviting but the weather was a wee bit too cool to enjoy it.
We brought our boat for fishing on nearby Lake Texoma and there was ample space to park it when we went site seeing in Gainesville.
We would highly recommend this property for a quiet getaway in a rural setting.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at the 7 Wheel Ranch cabin. It couldn't have been more authentic and accommodating. Everything about our stay was fantastic - right down to the dogs and the horses! A stay we won't long forget!
