This condo is wonderful for the single family looking to spend the week at the beach without spending a fortune on a mansion. Once you park your car, you could easily not drive the rest of the week and still have everything you need within walking distance. The unit is located an easy one block walk to the beach while surf shops, restaurants, and historical sites are close enough that even young children can walk there.

This is a NEW LISTING on Homeaway.com (starting in May), as such, there is space on the rental calendar for the last minute bookings.

Located between the highways, the condo complex is clean, well maintained, and has a pool for cooling off after the day in the sun. The unit has a washer and dryer for small loads to get you through the week and a full kitchen for dine in meals. Nicely decorated, the condo certainly has a beach feel without having a 'rental' look inside. The building and unit are dog friendly (but includes an additional fee).

The beaches of the Outer Banks are consistently listed as the best beaches in America by Dr. Beach, National Geographic, and ABC news to name a few. It is a great blend of history, ocean, and bay that goes back to the very first attempt at a settlement in the New World. Kill Devil Hills puts you in the middle of the Outer Banks.

Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, Wright Brothers Memorial, minor league baseball, and surf shops. Entertainment, Jockey's Ridge giant sand dunes, and grocery stores with three miles. Historic lighthouses and national grasslands within ten miles. Without being over commercialized and tall hotels, this area of the Outer Banks makes you only a short drive from any where you want to go.

The room has slept up to four teenagers just fine. There is also a pull out couch in the Living Room that can sleep two people.

Notes: Please note that linens are NOT available. Please bring queen sized sheets and enough twin bed sheets for your family. There is a communal area by the pool with outdoor charcoal grills and picnic tables. The condo is located on the third floor and there is not an elevator option for elderly guests. We would be happy to recommend units located on the first level for families with elderly parents but would also like to stay in the same complex.
